Because Spazmo thought the site was too "shitty" or something. For the most part I had a good time at DAC. Certain people were pretty fucking stupid, but at least you guys made me laugh sometimes. You'd have to be insane to post regularly on the forums, though.

I think the same happens anywhere. If you hang out in one place too long it starts to get to you. That's why I made the decision to post once in a while and mainly stick to news. Unfortunately the wrong people were in charge. I expected it all to end sooner rather than later.

You have to admit this community is on its last breath. There's no more future in Fallout only a spotty past. All the veterans are assholes , and it's getting so damn old with the same stupid shit. NMA, RGPCodex, DAC, there all the same. I might hang out more at Pamedia now, but I'll have to wait and see where that goes.

Sorry if anybody was insulted by me or whatever. I enjoyed my time in this community probably more than any other.

I agree with part of this. A lot of the people on RPGCodex, and DAC, are assholes, and they're often the people in charge. NMA has always been my preferred place to visit. This turn of events just goes to reinforce that.
NMA hasn't JUST covered FO though so I don't think its time is up quite yet. Having said that, with interplay not dead yet it looks like there's not going to be much positive to say about fallout for at least a few years, by that time I'm sure that I, and others, will have moved on, and the license will probably not be remembered.
All that IS sure is that i fucking HATE interplay

There were only one or two asses that happened to be mods at DAC...But they were easily tolerable.

Honestly, I've never even lurked at the NMA boards, so I can't really compare. I just know there were a few retards that got banned from NMA that ended up at DAC like Soldier87, and such.

My only real knowledge of NMA in general came from the snippets of news "seen over at NMA" that ended up on DAC as well. And a few people doing Fan Art stuff.

Seems like there's a hell of a lot more active posters at NMA..That is one thing I liked about DAC when I first showed up there when V13 went away: There were only about 20 active posters, and just a few random people that posted maybe once a month. NMA seems to move a lot quicker.

Well, let's not compaire

I go tired real quick of the playground slinging mud at one another that you sometimes see between DaC and NMA

We used to be a lot less active. 's 'round the time of the cancelling of VB when things really picked up, we've been more active ever since

Please, Nazi87 was all DaC's to blame for. As far as I know, the only banned person from NMA to cross over to annoy the DaC crowd was syko, and we all know how long that lasted.

But yeah, NMA does seem to have more variety in posters...

That's really weird - from the little lurking I did I thought the same thing about DAC. Maybe it just seems that way when you don't recognize the posters at all.

Not ever, no

You know how schools have student exchange programs?

NMA and DaC have that too, but with spammers

Yea, DaC is back, but with Killz running the place, it can't last very long.

Kreegle wouldn't have shut it down if Killz hadn't fucked with everything.

That site is back again? Cool.

Megatron.... get a life.

Wacko.

Yeah, telling people to get a life while posting on a gaming message board. Very cool. Meanwhile perhaps you could keep up to date with current events, son.

I think you're all over-reacting? Shit, one or two people mess about with a site that's down for a few hours. Meanwhile DAC received the highest amount of users today and it increased intrest momentarily in a forum that hadn't had a new thread for nearly a week. You should be thanking me and spazmo B)

Says the guy who mails fist.jpg to 2,000 people.

I went to a webpage once that was written by a "3 year old." It was supposed to be like a children's book thing the parent's made for the little kid's trip to Disney World...But it was like "This is me and Mickey. We're best friends"

I got really pissed off, hacked the page, and posted a picture of the kid with a big black dude hanging his dick in front of his face with the caption "I'm sorry I lied, Daddy."

Really good quality, too..The kid was crying in the original pic, and that just added to the atmosphere.

No legal action was taken. The family took down their web page the next day...But for a while I really regreted doing that, and I was waiting for Johnny Law to come take me away.
