I proudly present you nifty comix called "David Grey's tale". It's devoted to a ghoul named David Grey (not Richard) who is Jinxed and really kindhearted person. The story takes place some time before the Chosen One is going to leave Arroyo in searches of G.E.C.K.

I'm currently working on its english translation so you can check out finished episodes right over here.

Not bad, but the layout could be a lot better. Also: it's so very, very ... brown. And grey. A bit depressing really.

Meh.
 
Well, I don't think that cute bubbles and stuff suit the Fallout grafix. Minimalistic style is much more better for it.

Wouldn't you define the whole Fallout-atmosphere as rather depressing?

Cool stuff, some of them made me laugh, but some of them is just...stupid.

Uhm... no. :P

No, seriously: I never felt it that way. BG 2, now that was a depressing atmosphere. And a depressing game. I always got sick when I tried to play it (really: the first time I got the flu, and the second time I gave it a try, I had diarrhea for two days).
Fallout shows you a world that tries to rebuild itself again, living off the scraps that were left by the previous one. That's a nice thing. I betcha the air in the wasteland is as pure as it was in the Stone Age.

VirtualAlex's work is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay superior to this, IMO.
 
Hey good idea Bewitched. I was hoping to have your stuff in the news once you were done, but I could have done it earlier. Next time they do an "art round-up" day they'll post your stuff along with all the other art that came out since the last "art round-up" day.

Yeah, sure, retelling the walkthrough and zooming Fallout sprites is soooooooooooooooo interesting :lol:. DGT has its own characters, humor and all. And that what makes it original and interesting.

Thanks for the kind words Alec! I can actually sort of read Russian so I read a few panels. It's funny and original stuff. It's more minimalistic than my style but thats the whole point. No need to make it a "this comic vs that comic" kind of thing. There could be millions of comics about fallout and are.

The only thing I have a problem with is this:

Anyway this comic has alot more content than mine currently, so that is pretty sweet. But in other news, I am finally done with college FOREVER! So probably I will start hammering out more on my own comic.

Well, no :). And btw - I'm only the editor and translator (few episodes). The author is another guy.

woah this comic sure is neat! btw i really like ghouls and seeing one as a main char is a great joy to me! :D
