Decent Games

There's nothing wrong with paying less for games. Developers are greedy bastards anyway, they've effectively cut off the middle man out of business thanks to digital distribution and AAA titles are being sold for the same high prices as before. Fuck them! I'm willing to pay the full price only in a few special cases, mostly for supporting new and young indie developers who've started without Kickstarter.

It might be a little late now but for your own sake don't get The Binding of Isaac. I've sunk 410 hours into that fucking game and there's an expansion pack being released on Friday.

IDK going through my list, Please, Don't Touch Anything and Fotonica are p dank.

There is a Steam Halloween sale going on right now until the 2nd of Novmber, you may want to check if you find a deal that appeals to you.

I just bought White Night on my Xbone and am sort of regretting it because I don't do well with scary games, especially when I have to do puzzles at the same time too. Great game though.

Was WN really that scary? A shadow-based puzzler with fixed cameras and a noir look is all it was. All I remember being scary was that ghosty thing in the hallway, and that was just annoying...

if you want horror play Amnesia or Spec Ops.

Amnesia is laughably broken and painfully easy.

Well what is scary is up to the player, I found it scary as was Amnesia because you basically can't fight the threat (WN you can a bit with light) which is what makes it tense and scary.

The problem with Amnesia is the game functionally does not work as intended. When something kills you in Amnesia, the enemies are supposed to respawn elsewhere. In my playthrough that never happened. Enemies just disappeared, never to be seen again. Once I figured that out, the experience was completely ruined because the game lost any sense of tension and became a walking simulator.
