BTW, that panda really genuinely looks like me in real life.
At least according to my wife.

Sorry for sounding like a broken record but is there anything inherently wrong/creepy with a guy "earning" a girls love? Or vice versa?. Also does untastfull nudity always= bad?. If i make a campy B-movie in the style of sorority girls and the slime bowl- o -rama/ toxic avenger, filled with tasteless violence and nudity should my move be called " digusting sexist trash" or should it be viewed as just simply entertainment that does its intended goal well/or not well.Snip

HOWEVER, much like how I can enjoy a good hamburger that doesn't mean I don't like a nice steak either.
No one should take away cheap violence and sex as entertainment. My wife would kill me if I tried to.
Literally.
However, games aiming higher in storytelling and depictions is something good too.
I don't think Witcher 2 handled sex maturely tbh.One of the things I liked about the Witcher 2 and the Witcher 3 is both are mature games with tasteful nudity. I also felt Wolfenstein: The New Order benefited from the fact BJ and Anya have sex in the first Act then continue to have sex up until the end. It's not the end of some kind of weird quest to "earn" her affection or the end of the story. They like each other, they start a relationship, and they have one.

Some random elf chick sucking you off because you saved her from a burning building doesn't exactly seem like the most mature way to handle sex.
Witcher 3 handled it maturely though.
So... umm... diversity... yay... Black people in Europe during the medieval era...
I was thinking more about the fact that some people want Black people in medieval games.Othello is ahistorical.

Not if it's supposed to set in real Medieval Europe.I mean, I have no strong feelings on this particular subject but what's wrong with one or two? It's all fantasy anyway.

Because its not our job to hold peoples hand. No one else had people "work to get them resources" so why should they get special treatment? They should hsve to put in the hard work that everyone else did not get a "special snowflake" free pass. The accusations of racism and sexism come from arguments like this one, where people can't humble themselves enough to see that their perspectives on art aren't absolute and instead deign to shut down any notion that people who aren't like you deserve to play through their fantasies instead of yours. If people who aren't straight white men should be making games (and better games that more appeal to you, apparently?) in order to tell their own stories, then why aren't you working to get those folks the resources they need to start creating for a medium that's dominated by other demographics instead of denigrating their attempts to make their voices heard?

Battlefield 1 and Mafia III were not crowd funded indie games made by black people lolOf course it's not your job to hold anyone's hand, and of course people are going to make their own things regardless of your input.
And like, yeah they did man. What do you think publishers do? What do you think crowdfunding is for?
I suppose when it has a purpose in the movie there's a story or character reason for it it's fine. Like the character is a whore or a creep or their drunk etc.Sorry for sounding like a broken record but is there anything inherently wrong/creepy with a guy "earning" a girls love? Or vice versa?. Annnd then there's this:I kind of actually just discussed this. But to rephrase my answer for this, no there's nothing wrong with that but it runs into two things.
1. Mixing stroke fodder and serious storytelling in one game doesn't help either because those looking for one or the other are getting a diluted batch for both.
2. You don't need to give up great storytelling with great characters to have cheap fun entertainment or vice versa.
No one is saying ban Dead or Alive: Beach Volleyball. It's the issue of saying maybe it's a good thing Lara has human breasts and clothes now.
Those two are just the most recent and ergregeous.Dozens of video games come out a year in the AAA market and you're hung up on those two? Why not just play something else if you're bothered by them having black people in them?
Those two are just the most recent and ergregeous.
Also nice shifting the goalpost from "its indie devs with crowd funding" to "well who cares when it fucks up SOME franchises? Just accept it you racist"
