Does anyone remember significant backlash for Arcade and Veronica?

Jim Sterling's such a douche, I'm surprised that people are so quick to compare him to Yahtzee.

Yahtzee is more of an entertainer than a critic, despite his own claims; he rarely offers any balanced insight into a game or even tries to pretend to. I find him funny and all, but I never use him as a point of reference.

Not to mention that he seems to have kind of a shit taste anyway, but I digress.

Sterling goes on and on about DLC shenanigans, and I have yet to hear him say a single thing about the Fallout 4 DLCs. After his glowing review for Fallout 4, he later on spoke in one of his podcasts about how, gosh, Fallout 4's kind of boring and has major issues. Ya think he'd might have mentioned that in his review, other than confusing lazy writing for an openness towards other kinds of relationships.

It's shocking how so many "critics" fall into this trick over and over again.

Bethesda games are so massive they trick you into thinking they're these big sprawling worlds with lots to do, so reviewers everywhere, after playing five hours say, "this is the most amazing game I've ever played!" and moronically put it in their review.

Then about three or four months, shock, surprise! We all later realised it's shit. Are we gonna change our reviews to reflect this? Nah, just let people constantly fall into the 5* trap and give more money to a company that clearly does deserve the financial or critical acclaim it received.

Fixed. Little error there.

Ahh thanks. Wouldn't want people to think I'd gone crazy.

Now if you'll excuse me folks I need to catch up on my PewdiePie videos, read some Harry Potter fanfiction on Tumblr and play my all-time favourite game Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel.

I kind of take Jim Sterling with a grain of salt.
I agree, I find his Fallout 4 video to be hilariously misguided.
But he does bring up some nice bit of drama (such as the whole Digital Homicide incident).
