I don't like origin or steam. I was totally mad about nv forcing me to install steam and I am still mad about me3 forcing me to install origin. however since I was getting a DRM free copy of WL2 with my funding (right?) that does not concern me.

I do outright hate ea for everything they stand for, for killing bullfrog, westwood, origin systems (then even pissing on their dead corpse by using the name for that distribution platform), and see what they are doing to bioware.

I feel another company I once liked going down the drain.

So with these news I have mixed feelings.

good: hopefully WL2 will sell more copies, be more successful and make future projects more likely

bad: ea, even without taking money is increasing their origin portfolio and thus it benefits them (And I would really like to see that company burned to the ground)

I haven't been following W2 news much, but I guess I could ask here, since there is retail talk.

Has there been any mention of retail physical copies?

Last time I asked inXile folks, they said it's still up to discussion, but if they do it, it would be a standard DVD box we see these days, not a big box.
So...anyone knows if they've made a decision?
