Emperor's Truth (The "while I'm bored" Thread)

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
When I started playing Warhammer: Dawn of War, I soon noticed the "thoughts of the day" in the game menu and wrote them all down.

Embrace the Truth:


There is only the Emperor and he is our shield and protector.

Hatred is the Emperor's greatest gift to humanity.

Pain is just an illusion of senses, despair an illusion of mind.

Thought begets Heresy, Heresy begets Retribution.

Noone is innocent, there are merely varying levels of guilt.

No man died in his service that died in vain.

Better crippled in body than corrupted in mind.

A man who has nothing can still offer his life.

Fear denies Faith. Faith is eternal.

Bless the mind too small for doubt.

Broad mind lacks focus.

The Emperor knows, the Emperor is watching.

An open mind is like a fortress with it's gates unbarred and unguarded.

While the enemies of the Emperor still draw breath, there can be no peace.

It is better do die for the Emperor, than live for yourself.

Wiseman learns from death of others.

Cowards die in shame.

His will be done.

P.S. This thread has no other use than to spread the word of the Emperor.

Most of those lines are taken right out of the Codices and Rulebooks of the tabletop game.

As a matter of fact I got them all right here... (pets stack of Warhammer 40K literature)

I'm just surprised they didn't put this one in.

It is official!

The number of those who have sacrificed themselves in the name of the Emperor now outnumber the stars in the sky!

Seeing that anything else pretty much involves fighting and killing I am not surprised that humanity is breeding like rabbits.

Tau get severly buttraped up close and if you attack early.

but other than that? i suppose only Terminators with tanksupport stand a chance.

i like the Tau most as well. enlightened in their own way, not afraid of combat and aimed at ranged combat. hey, that sounds like me! ;)

funny of them to neuter some of the conquered "inferior" races though. hehe.
 
Well, the Kroot and the Vespid seem to have no problem making babies.

Although that might be because Tau like hot steamy Vespid sex and Kroot dominatrix porn.
