The Bethesda Blog notes Europe's got us covered in New Vegas previews, as quite a few European magazines are running New Vegas cover stories. They list a few we've already seen (like the French Joystick and German PC Games), don't list the Finnish Pelit for some reason, and add the Italian WinGiochi, Swedish PC Gamer, Hungarian 576 Kbyte and Turkish Level, all of which should be in the stands/with subscribers by now. I would assume they're all based on the same demo showing, just like previous previews, so don't expect too much new stuff, but any local readers willing to give us new tidbits, please do.

PC Games has the worst looking cover but it actually tells you what they cover. That said, they should cut it down to game titles only. I too like Petit's cover as it's not only unique but a good picture. That one shot of the NCR ranger seems to be extremely popular and while it's a good picture, one might hope that the magazines might do some coordination so that they don't all look identical. Then again, I guess they are in different languages.

I like the VB gambling picture (though the style looks off), the Level cover looks particularly Fallout. I wonder if/where it will be in the game.
 
Well to be fair, the cover isn't that different from the other game magazines. They all look like this. There was even one who did a "clear front cover" run only for subscribers...

But yeah it's so weird to see Fallout all over the place. I have the exact same magazine PC Games 1/99.

There's a "test" of Fallout 2 in it, it's not even a whole page. And it got 80%. That and the fact that they still have the same shitty cover design after 11 years should say enough about those editors :lol:
 
Even if not that image, the dude will be on the cover to 100%. The first character images we saw from Fallout 3 made the cover too. One can say that you will see it so often now that always when you see or think about it, you get the New Vegas image in the head.

just judging bye the artistic view this one is the best for me.
It's overall nice done and doesn't features this "OMG This guy looks so cool!!111" guy.

Haha, even with the shop (the Fallout series is a tad humorous after all, eh? :)), I think this is one of the coolest magazine covers I've seen, I love it. Would make a good cover for some sort of extra book inside a collectors edition.
 
I must say that I do like the Jin Roh like armor. Combined with a duster and a revolver, it's straight up awesome.
 
Compare the Level cover with the other, the graphic designer did a fantastic job of taking boring vector work and bringing materiality to it. Not only did they add classic Fallout distress, but they were conscious of shadows and emphasizing other minor elements (such as poker chips). Even looking at Vault Boy's face in the two, I swear Level's Vault boy's face looked more like what I'd see in the originals... but on a second look I found was just being a tad silly with myself.

Hence why Germany is one of the bigest markets for adventure Games.

I hope it ! Have enough of child-village ... we should let Twinkie and BN make a Fallout 3 or game in general. Twinkie would make sure that its politicaly not correct and BN would make it intelligent. By the way ... I could do the job for dumb dialogues.
