I don't know if this has already been done (haven't kept up with the changes much): Have the Hubologists in random encounters be hostile if you've turned the ones in SF hostlie or killed AHS-9 (e.g. by super stims). As it is, they don't care if you've wiped out their entire base. It would spice things up a bit, as the G11s/power fists/plasma grenades are significantly more dangerous than FN FALs.

Just wanted to tell you real quick before I get banned for asking a stupid question under Tech help.

Read the read me....I know..!!!

Anyway....finsished the mod..loved it.!!!

Love it so much I'm going to do one more run through to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I just got Mass Effect and AoC...but for some reason I'd rather play a 10 year old game that I've played dozens of times already.

Something must be wrong with me...??? and your not helping...

So for that thank you...!!!

Now I'll just wait for the hammer to fall.....

Damn...I never read the read me's....!!!...'sigh'....

1.2 will be out oh so soon. If you can wait a few days, I would for a fuller second playthrough.

Nothing is wrong with you, you just like quality...something you might not find in those two games you just mentioned.

I just started playing FO2 after many years and i installed restoration 1.1. I'm early in the game an it sounds like i should wait for 1.2 before i start playing. will 1.2 invalidate my old saves. Also by a few days do you mean by monday, ireally hope its some time next week. great job and keep it up.

1.1 saves will load just fine. The only problem is that if you get too far some fixes will not become activated or some quests may be broken since they had to be recoded.

I'm hoping for a Friday June 6th release, but we may see Sunday/Monday. Still waiting on some things from people.

yeh that's the problem with version compatibility in some mods but personally i'de rather start over than have a non-updated version... which is why in MMO's they force updates upon players.. not coz they're mean but because they want everyone to have as much of a similar and fair experience as anyone else. Oh and killap, check your inbox, i messaged you about possibly getting your nhMyron.ssl file for use in my mod. I've allready been able to modify all your other party-npc scripts (for the Infinite Party Memebers Mod.. which too many people have downloaded already)

Reason is i'm making it compatible for both your regular unofficial patch and your RP mod... but as of yet i've been unsuccessful in decompiling your nhMyron.int files. i'm using int2ssl and it works for eveyr other script for some reason.. hmm

Great mod! Thanks!

I'm having a slight problem with the raiders quest. I got the disc and map from Bishop's safe, wiped out the raiders, and got the raiders account book. I went to Vault City to turn everything in, but there is no dialogue option (I only get the standard dialogue options, as well as a "Tell me about the raiders" dialogue option). The "Tell Me About The Raiders" dialogue option doesn't lead me anywhere.

Send a save game to the address found in the readme.

Also, who are you talking with in the game about the Raiders?

I talked to the First Citizen about them after I got the disc and book.

Can't find an address in the readme. Could ya PM it to me?

PMed you.

I found a minor bug or glitch in the brahmin rustling quest. I went through all the necesary steps to aquire the scorpion pincers and had a speech of 60 when i talked to the dunton's. However when i went to talk to them about it the dialog tree would always end with them denying it. Finally i loaded my save from when i entered the town and did everything the same including aloting half my char points to speech to get it to 60. this time when i talked to the duntons they played there part as scripted. strange.

Right now I am waiting on some text files to be translated as well as the last few bits for the new NPC appearance mod. As a result, 1.2 will be delayed a few days. Probably until Monday. Don't worry though since even if everyone I am in communication with falls off the face of the Earth, I will release 1.2 by no *later* than Friday June 6th.

I don't suppose you're still holding to this?

just noticed somthing strange with the forum. every time i type restoration it appears in black therefore not viewable on the black background. is there some reason for this font color?

Edit: well now its not doing it. I could probably delete this post but it may serve some as yet unseen purpose in the greater reality.

....Well, I am waiting on ONE last thing. I actually won't be home for the next few hours so I may not release tonight even if I get everything. Still, I hope the last files I need arrive this weekend. If not I will be sad. :D

I just encountered exactly the same bug. The First citizen also thinks I pissed her off in the previous conversation (which I didn´t do) and her dialogue always resets to that "pissed off"-state.

Could this be because I didn´t kill the raiders but instead talked to Shadow-who-walks and broke raiders strenght that way.

Yeah this might be a stupid questions but here i go.

I did never finish Fallout 2 so should i finish the game then play your mod or is this mainly an expansion which is useless unless you have played the original ?

It's not really an "expansion" that you have to play after you have finished the original game... if that's what you mean. You should be ok playing with it on your first playthrough.

Though an extension of things you can do after finishing the game would certainly be welcome. Are there any mods that add onto things you can do after the ending?
