I don't even know if the artwork was uploaded to this site, since Josan12 and Jotsz sent me that work directly. Well, if the artwork was uploaded here, you can get your hands on that. However, you will need to modify the party NPC scripts in order to get them to actually use the new artwork. I can't recall if the NPC armor mod was ever released as a standalone... though I doubt it. So, without learning how to make some basic changes to scripts, looks like the only way you are gonna see their awesome artwork in a game is to add in the RP (or MM).
 
I'm having a problem, it's probably fallout related overall but I'm gonna ask here since this is the mod I'm playing.


Just wasted 2 hours of playing when Sulik gets killed.

I had him on "Run at a tourniquit (or what ever it says)" and take stimpacks when hurts alot.

The dude ran, got stuck somewhere and wouldn't use his last stimpack, despite the gecko taking him down like 5 hitpoints per turn. Any idea how to avoid this?


Also how does the flash work here? Is it only for ranged targets? Does it need to be put on the enemy or on me...etc
Flash was always buggy, wonder if this mod fixed it. (So that I don't get penalty for dark places)

I suggest you save the game more often :wink:

Did he have any stimpaks? (It's stimpak, not stimpack)
 
As for the flares, they work like this.

You pick them off of fallen enemies, desks, whatever. You then sell them at the nearest merchant because they're absolutely useless beyond that.

Seriously though, they work like grenades. Stick it in your active weapons slot and toss. I wouldn't recommend it though, as they don't do anything helpful.
 
That's incorrect though.
You see your character gets a penalty when fighting at night or in caves. The Flares are supposed to negate this and I was hoping this restoration mod had fixed the flares :P


About the stimpaks, if I said that he had a stimpak when he died then yes he did have a stimpak when he died. In his body.

Here is a use for the flares:
Light it up and give it to your NPC. Make sure he has no other weapons and weapon preference is set to none. Tell him to equip his best weapon. Most NPCs will equip the Flare and if it is dark you can confirm this by the light around them. Even if the flare is burnt out the light remains and thus the overall darkness of the map is reduced and it looks funny when all your npcs have that little light around them.

I'm sorry if my explanation is not good, but if I remember correctly same thing can be found from Per's F2 Walktrough.
 
Killap, do it, do it, do it pleeeease :P I`ll leave my town the day after tomorrow to the old village without NET access :) I`ll die there without RP 1.3.

I would be sad if you died.

Alas, a release cannot happen at this time. I am in the middle of massive presentations and there a few kinks still left to be worked out.
 
Killap, a question for you: after release of RP 1.2 I bagun a new game and was reporting some bugs but after finishing about 50% of the game I made myself a break and haven't played ever since.

Would it make sense if I continued with the reports now or in upcoming days?

Reporting bugs is still a good thing, I would say. It's not likely everything has been reported/fixed yet.
Have a look at the Bug Reports for what has been reported and what's been fixed. Even if a bug has already been reported, you may sit on additional info.
 
Car missing

I've been playing through RP 1.2 and I may have found a bug. I parked my car in NCR and elected to go with the rangers to the slaver camp. After saving Sulik's sister and warping to the primitive tribe, I returned to NCR but my car had disappeared. I've checked the slaver camp and primitive tribe area and my car is no-where to be found. If this isn't a bug could someone please tell me what happened to my car?

Did you check (or rather use) the additional car fix mentioned in the first post of this thread?
