don`t know if its already cleared but its kinda odd, the game don't notice that goris left the party, so you're forced to dump him by yourself again.
If you completed the search for the GECK and take Goris with you before completing the Redding Quests, he leave after a short wihle because something is wrong with his pack. If you're now going to Redding and try to complete the Sherif Quests, Lou didn't want to talk with you, cause no mutants allowed ;) so you have to go to vault 13 first, take goris with you, dump him and then you can talk to Lou.

Well I finally found robbers in a cave :). And they ware more challenging when the whole enclave oil ring :P. Armed with turbo plasmas, pulse rifles, guass rifles and caseless submachine-guns I had to used whole bunch of drugs on me and my npcs. That was a fight :nuclear: :obsessed: :violent:
Now back to the point- I was really disappointed when I found only 690 gold pieces and 4 stimpacks :o I remembered the chests contains 10000 gold pieces... is this normal or bug?
The small bug which I'm certain off is a boozar sound files-try to miss with boozar and you will know what I mean. This is a heavy machine-gun not a single-shoot rifle. I'll post it at wiki and give a savegame asap.

And since I'm posting-Killap please answer if you could charge up a phaser just a bit-come on the strongest weapon which is weaker then pulse pistol, solar scotcher and alien blaster? If not maybe sth spacial can be add- since in Star Trek they used phaser as a stunt weapon very often-how about giving the weapon special knock out chance or sth?

While scanning this topic I remembered sth else. In Broken Hills I've told Marcus about Charlie but I didn't go with him and Charlie stayed. If I try to talk to him he gives me a floating massage- is this as suppose to be?
 
Hi, i'm playing the game for the first time and need some help with the Hi-Res patch. I had been playing with the Unofficial Patch and the resolution came up nice.

I ended up doing a fresh install in-order to install the latest Restoration version except the graphics are all spritey.

If I install the Unofficial Patch over it then the graphics are better again, but is that over writing the Restoration?

Also, what do you mean with "spritey"?
Did you set up the high-res patch properly in the options menu (the new SCRN button)?

Uhm, the phazer was made by the original developers, killap just added into the game. So it is what it was meant to be. Besides, you can get it already at level 6, so it would be bad to have it too powerful.

I like your idea about about "knockout". Maybe could change the "Weapon Accurate" perk it has now to "Weapon Enhanced Knockout"?
Though that is modding and not restoring. :shrug:

The Phazer does laser damage, which makes it useless in vanilla FO2. With F2WR all armors' resistance to Laser is rebalanced, which makes the Phazer almost too powerful, but it's mostly a joke weapon, so hey. If you don't want to use F2WR, here's a link to a Phazer that does Electrical damage - that's terror.

Sadly, Knockback and Knockout do not work on ranged weapons without some sfall magic.

People please write in wiki and add savegames or images!!!!
Killap-now you have a whole bunch of bugs and most of them without savegames(so you will have to pm the people) so it could be enough for 3.0 version ;) :).
And hey don't complain now about the number of bugs ;) -you requested you got them ;) :)

@ebbpp: hey man, hope i could have larger amount of time and could help more as you do since you have joined to NMA. Wonderful job-like working, finding bugs never been that funny and your role can not be underestimated for a new member. And now, i saw that you have contributed two of my reports on wiki report section. Much appreciated !

Now, we should try to find more and report as much as we can before these could be fixed and included on next version.

Ok, I posted this a little while ago in a different thread-- I don't know if it has anything to do with the RP, but it only happened once I had it installed. While playing FO2 with the latest RP, and playing a very "goody two-shoes" character with no negative reputations and "Shield of Hope" karma, I got a lot of people attacking me at sight. This would only happen with certain people, however: certain cops in NCR would be fine with me, but others would shoot me in the head as soon as I walked into view. The guards around the gun dealer outside of NCR all waved me towards him, but then he told me to get out or he would kill me. Marcus in BH was happy to see me, but Francis said that he wouldn't associate with scum like me.

I started another game and the problem seemed to no longer occur. I'll get a savegame in a little bit if I need to, but I'm currently on a different computer which doesn't have the character on it.

Thanks for doing this fantastic bit of work, killap! :clap:

just curious, you'll have patience to look at the forums for all the bugs reported here? remember there are ppl here that dont like to post in the wiki. (although they should) ;)

killap, I'm glad to hear you're not going on too long of a hiatus, since some of these bugs are rather nasty, such as the NPCs assisting in the ring fights.

Alas, we don't know which Christmas were mentioned here. Maybe 2015? (Don't rush, killap.)
Still i'm not worried about bugs, the Bear Dude will smash them skilfully.

PLease make it compatible with the current version. Oh hell, I'll probably finished my current game by then. Do what you want. ;)
 
I was in the middle of doing Black Hills and when I go to the sewer to finish the missing persons quest... there are no missing persons. I've gone through at least 5 times so I'm pretty sure I'm not overlooking the bodies. Given, I haven't played in several years so I don't remember where they were... but they aren't where I assumed they'd be (the room northeast with the torch. Seemed like the only obvious place besided the large area below there) and I don't see them anywhere else.

Another weird bug: I tried going into the mines after i made sure I wasn't going down the wrong entrance to the underground, Sulik and Lenny kept taking 10-20 damage every couple seconds after it finished loading. I went over to Stodgers to get the experience but he just ran off with no prompts after the dialog was over. I try to heal Sulik and then the game says I'm dead, but instead of the splash screen everything went white. Not sure what happened with that.

Uh, thanks, but I think you may have misunderstood my post. I know the proper use your, you're, etc. I was simply demonstrating to someone another example of this forum's humorous filter. Whenever someone uses obnoxious internet short-hand for common words, such as typing "u" and "r" together in place of the words "you're" or "your," the forum automatically replaces the word with that message, as you see above.

Is there any chance that you might put some drop-in post-fixes on the front page of this thread, like you have for prior versions? According to the wiki, an awful lot of the bugs are already fixed, but the fixes aren't available to the unwashed masses, and it seems a shame to have to wait 2 months for them. :(

Regardless, like everyone else, I really appreciate all of the work you've put into this game!

I see no reason why the next release won't be compatible with previous 2.1.x saves.

Sorry, probably not. However, I should look over the list and see if there are any severe issues that warrant a post-fix.
