EDIT: RP installer updated to correct the uninstall issue. Minor and not worth re-downloading unless you truly care.
 
Killap-Wow-that's a big guide-but since i have red this. Can those can be fixed?

1.endings for the Elder, Marcus, Harold and the President
2.Rebecca attacking you if you're a Childkiller;
3.gaining a permanent Agility bonus after sleeping with Miss Kitty
4.The best ending for Gecko, which would require you to optimize the plant and get the Gecko Holodisk from Gordon after talking to the Brain, is impossible to get due to a silly bug in the endings script.
5.VC independent, Westin and Lynette marry (!): Fix the power plant, kill the raiders, expose Bishop's plan and deliver the two holodisks but do not collect the final reward from Randal (bug), and don't kill Westin or Lynette (obviously).

You can check the detailed change logs for the Unofficial Patch and the Restoration Project. While they don't contain everything, if you checked both of them out carefully, then you'll see that most of the items on the list has been implemented and/or fixed.

Checked the change log since 1.0 and some lines in Unoficcial Patch. I didn't find everything concerning those 5.

O.K.Checked Unoficial Patch more detailed and found that 2 and 3 are there fixed.
What about endings? Point 1,2 and 5? Killap?

As bugs are concered-minor one-in Klemath then you pay for Sulik demages-shouldn't she has that many for trade? Like most npc have?

Fresh Fallout 2 installation, automatic full RP 2.1.2b installation, Fallout2_Blue_ Cave_Mod copied, Fallout-2-World-Map copied, new game started. Resolution is 1280x800, both sfall and f2_res.

Part of the unofficial patch (and thus the RP) for quite some time.

Since there was a bug here I probably fixed it. Again, you'd have to let me know if this isn't the case.

What happens if you lower the resolution? Also, what happens without the extra mods? Also, why are you installing the world map mod separately? There is a choice for that in my installer.

Many npcs don't keep the money you give them on their inventory. Not a bug.

Same with Fallout default resolution (ugly 640x480, please no more), with any sfall graphic mode. So you want me to reinstall all Fallout stuff and test it? Well... maybe tomorrow :)

I thought that "Visually enhanced world map" doesn't exactly mean "...attempt at adjusting the Fallout 2 world map to match the Fallout 1 world map stylistically". I wasn't sure, so I applied it. Doesn't hurt to overwrite these files, right?

Even at default resolution? Odd. Sounds like the high res scoll blockers are not working. You do have a f2_res.dll, f2_res.ini and f2_res directory in your main F2 folder, right?

Fair enough. I suppose that description isn't 100% accurate to what it does. It is an enhancement over the original F2 one though. :P And yeah, overwriting them shouldn't be a problem.

Dammit, I hate typos. They tend to be invisible to me since I know what I meant to say and so that's the way I read it, even if that's not what it says. I usually have my girlfriend proof-read for me, but I couldn't with this game, since she hasn't' yet played Fallout 2 and I didn't want to spoil things for her.

killap, did that typo get fixed in the updated installer?

That isnt the RP temple map - your playing the original Fallout 2, that's why the black boxes are closer to the temple, the map is much narrower than the version in RP. Please check...

Bah, yeah that's a minor issue. I'm not sure why you chose to run that file though (oh, unless you were uninstalling the RP). Basically, it is run when you uninstall the RP to ensure that everything is cleaned up to the way the game was before. Since there is no dat2.exe, it can't remove the RP protos. Honestly, don't worry about it and just reinstall he game if you truly don't want to play with the RP.
Yes, I was trying to uninstall/reinstall the RP since I choose wrong options and too lazy to manually removing unneeded stuff. :oops:
I know the uninstaller still works fine (expect the batch files), just a little surprised when I saw the message popped out. And thanks again for the new RP 2.1.2b :D

I see the rock there though.

It's cool. I've updated the installer to address the issue you mentioned. You'd have to reinstall the game with it for the uninstall process to actually work correctly, so it's probably not worth it until future playthroughs.

I believe the blue cave mod is incompatible with the RP. It says so on the forum thread where you download it.
 
Yes...the blue cave mod is designed only for the original Fallout2 with Killap's patch...not for the RP. When I did the blue cave mod I went through the maps and boxed them in black, so you wouldn't see the broken edges, copying them over the RP maps will result in problems. But I will make a blue cave version for the RP after 2.2 is released.

If people like the Blue – then download – if people don’t like the Blue then don’t download…pretty easy. But I will make sure it works properly before I release it…as an added bonus all of the smaller maps with the broken edges will be boxed in black – for those high resolution lovers out there. But I’m not fixing any vanilla map problems; you’re going to have just to enjoy those. And it looks pretty nice IMO. :wink:

I'm liking the blue. I loved the cave art in Fallout. Be pretty rad if this is eventually done for the RP.

Never say never, but I can say it’s a long way off – too many other Fallout projects happening I’m afraid.
 
An interesting bug, I did that quest for the hologram in the EPA, but I never did get the Solar Schorcher. Is it me, or did I misplace it?
