I kind of sounds like the hi-res patch isn't installed properly. When accessed from the Main-menu, do you see the "SCRN" button in the Preferences Window?

There is no need to change the res from 640x480, you just need to have the hi-res patch installed. The angled map boundaries have been opened up a little in the hi-res patch allowing you to see more tiles. Pixote took advantage of this when creating the EPA maps, and as a result the exit grid lies beyond the reach of an unpatched game.

That did it, thanks Mash. I re-patched the .exe with your mod and it works fine. I must've replaced the exe at some point in my modding endeavours and forgotten about it.

OK stupid question:
But i noticed the music isnt playing at all but all other sound effex are fine. .....

I just drop by to say that Polish translation is ready and available on page below.
Awesome! Thanks again for taking the time to translate this, Ivan. You and your fellow translators are the best!

Did more bug squashing today. I've made it through all the location and will soon be tackling the "Encounter Bugs" and "Misc" sections. These two definitely have the most issues, and will surely be hard to reproduce. We'll see though.

It'd be nice if people look over my comments and see if they can reproduce any issues I wasn't able to. Just look for reports that don't have the green "Confirmed" tag at the front.

Great to see you making progress. Especially cool that you finally solved the slot machine bug.

I noticed you didn't confirm or comment on this San Fran bug, which I can confirm happened on my last play-through:
Hmm, are NPCs supposed to fight Lo Pan's disciples during the match?
Darek: ... there are two parts of the steel railing that still have the shoot through flag set. One is on the north side and the other is to the south, or hex 19704 and 21505)."

Yup. I try to set aside some time on the weekends. Then again, those are the days I'm not coding for a living, so it can be tough. ;)

That one was hard to track down, until I remembered that NPCs around the machines are randomly set to hidden when you enter the map. So even though it looked like no one was there, there in fact was someone using the machine!

There are a few bugs I didn't confirm but I know are true bugs. These are ones that involve map changes. I don't want to address them until I've integrated Pixote's latest map changes. Really, tagging on the wiki is flawed. "Confirmed" actually means both confirmed and fixed for upcoming release. I could use the tag "Fixed" but I had used that in the past to indicate bugs fixed in minor updates. Yeah, whatever. The list is really just to keep track of things. There is no point in switching to a true bug tracker at this point.

If you want anything done on the wiki for the sake of simplicity, contact me. I'll do just about anything you need

I was wondering if it might be possible to include the remastered music by Mark Morgan with the RP?

I'm not sure what would be involved in accomplishing that but I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe as an option in the installer?

My apologies if this has been discussed and/or shot down before.

As always, great work Killa' P!

sorry, just my opinion, not wanting to force you to do anything but i'm totally against this, wikia itself is not popular as the forums, MOST of bugs reported are HERE, even with modders posting here instead the wikia (if you go through the threads you'll see they dont post savegames which is kinda bad) so the thought of creating in the future a true bug tracker doesnt seem useful for me, i believe only the forum should be the place to post bug reports and there are bugs here not reported elsewhere.

Eh, it's really my fault for the poor tagging scheme. It's fine though. The system works for me and there is no point in changing it.

Well I never said a true bug tracker will be created. All I said was that one should have been made from the start. But yeah, I realize that bugs are posted here and not on the wiki. That still doesn't mean that posting bugs to the wiki is not useful. The point of a bug tracker (in any form) is to keep everything in one place and make it easy to search through. Reading through pages and pages of a forum thread is the antithesis of this. Whatever. I'll continue what I always do: Fix all the bugs on the wiki that I can, release, and see what new bugs get reported. Everyone should keep in mind that this upcoming release will be the last one though for quite some time. Perhaps forever, depending upon what issues remain.

 What?!? Forever? :aiee: What do you mean by issues? Do you not enjoy working on the RP anymore? Truly a sad day for Fallout 2 fans.

That is up to you, of course. I guess I am just worried that we won't see any major game-changing Fallout 2 mods anymore. Not any carried through to completion, anyway. :(

I can only put so many years into this project. Keep in mind I've been modding Fallout 2 for 5+ years now.

Bugs in the RP. If there are any game stopping issues or the bug list starts to get out of control (even if they are all minor), I'll release another update.

Like I said above, I've put a considerable amount of time into this project and it's time to bring some closure to it. I've implemented all the new content I plan to include, and once the current set of bugs are squashed, things will be even more polished.

I'm not surprised, you have done a gargantuan work so far. :salute:
Damn, but I will miss your famous deadlines, dude! (May the force be with you.)

Killap - Veni, vidi, vici :salute: , I'm sure all of us here will put any amount of effort needed to squash any of the remaining bugs to have your mission fulfilled

I found a nasty bug:) Long haired and bald dude has broken leather jacket animation when run. I already put message on wiki misc bug section. Thanks killap for you hard work:) polish fan:P

Thanks, however I do plan to leave the RP in a state where there won't need to be any further improvements. At least nothing major. After the upcoming release, I think we'll basically be there. Plus, it's not like I'm abandoning the project. I'll still be around.

Yeah, enclosing such project will be an epic feat. Still, I'm restraining myself from replaying 2.1.2b now in order to have more energy and bug hunting devotion, when 2.1.3 comes out :)
