1 - wrong place to post this, this is for discussing anything F2RP related.

2 - use "Edit" button instead of creating a new post.

Killap, 2 questions.
How is bug squashing going?
Do you intend the possibility of including party orders mod/script as a RP installation option ?

I'm sorry for asking a dumb question, but can anyone please tell me how to get in this Vault Village location. I've played 3 different versions of RP, but wasn't been able to locate it.

Taleyran,
[spoiler:05cf8cd9b2]it's a quest given to you by sgt. Stark in Vault City. Just take all the quests from him as usualy; something new will appear at some point.[/spoiler:05cf8cd9b2]

Not bad. I try to squash some each week. Basically, I have the last two sections of the wiki to go over (encounter bugs and misc bugs). I don't know when I'll get to those though.

I always planned to. If I do, it will of course be an option in the installer. Nothing forced.

I've been testing it with the RP recently - it's a great addition, and doesn't seem to conflict with the RP.

Where did you start noticing this? I assume Primitive Tribe? If so, where did you find the knife?
The knives all stack except for one particular knife; I had them for a bit before I noticed the issue, so I don't recall where they were from, but it was well before I visited Primitive Tribe. I think they (or at least the "bad" knife) may have come from a random encounter. The knife near the entrance of Primitive Tribe stacks correctly.

The earliest savegame where I have two knives that don't stack is in "Random Encounter - Mountain" where I defeated three random bandits. (It's a map with a building, a brahmin pen attached, some corn stalks in rows, and a well.) The kinfe may not have come from there, though; it may have been from another encounter (somewhere on the trip from Den to Kalama).
I made a new character to look for this particular knife, after it showed up in my inventory on another character I recently played with. I ran around and picked up all knives I could remember lying on the ground or in containers on the town maps, carefully checking my inventory after each one.

I found it, or at least a knife that does not stack with other knives, in "Random Encounter Mountain".

It's inside the bookcase, together with a crowbar, in the shack with a door:

Tried loading MOUNTN6.MAP (by pressing CTRL+R in main menu). There is also a knife in a crate, in the lower left corner of the shack. It does not stack with the knife in the bookcase. In my random encounter there was no knife in the crate though, only the one in the bookcase.

Thank you very much for your efforts killap, we appreciate it.

I"m introducing one of my friends to FO2 and I'm instructing him to install the F2RP before he even starts.

Thank you once again!

GDI Lord

Killap can we use this new flare - basically all you need to do is replace the item "flare" with the new one, and change the proto light level to 100 - distance 0. This flare has six different directions, so could you fix the script so the flare falls in a random manner.

Oh God it might screw the flare stacking...:look:

Glowing Flare ITEM

Yeah, adding scripts to this will break the stacking. Not gonna happen. There are ways around this with sfall, but I don't know if I have the time.

@GDI Lord
Cool. Always happy to hear about new people getting into Fallout. I'd say have your friend wait until the next version of the RP is out, but I don't know when that'll be. It'll be worth the wait though, I'll tell you that.

Hey I just discovered that if an item (that has the 6 directions - NE - E - SE - SW - W - NW), is thrown in any of those directions then it will sit on the ground in that given direction. So no script necessary... 8-)

Throw a flare south east - and it lands south east direction, throw a flare west - and it will land west direction. So can we up date the flare item for the RP?

I did note a few minor quirks in the new EPA map.

EPA Level Three, just outside the "Gender Bender":

I am being poisoned through the wall! The first hex where the poison hits is where the red marker is, one more hex ahead (where my char is standing) and I lost ~40 HP. One more hex ahead and I'm dead! It seems like those three are the only poisonous hexes along the right side of the wall.

A desk that's inaccessible, just inside the main entrance and to the right:

EPA Robot Maintenance, in the leftmost hallway leading to an elevator:

While running between the red marked hexes, my character tends to take a shortcut through the corner in the second picture.

Another strangeness, when buying a Pancor Jackhammer from Buster in NCR. This happened when buying it from the leftmost bookcase (where it usually spawns). Normally the price of a weapon decreases a bit if you unload it and put the ammo back in the vendors inventory, but in this case I found the price to increase by almost $4000! My bartering skill was at 18%.

EDIT: Just tried to reproduce this, but failed to do so. At least I got one of those babies for Cassidy at a discount price. 8-)

EDIT 2: Found a possible typo in Kitsune's dialogue:

"My father was worked [...]".

The bug wiki...?
Any bugs you find should be entered here:
http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Restoration_Project_bug_reports

This way, Killap doesn't have to sort through umpteen pages of forum posts to find them, and can easily track their progress. IIRC, you do not need an account to edit this page.
Right. I have added my findings to the EPA section. :)

Someone apparently added some of the observations I made and posted earlier in this thread to the wiki. I guess it wasn't Glovz. ;)
