To the 1. question. I think you are doing the quest you should deliver the part for the printing machine, isn't it that quest? If yes than go to the chateral where a man is talking (blue letters are above him). Behind him there is a grey wooden door on the ground, go touch it. After the door opened touch it a second time. Now you are at the celler where he is.

To Paul. There are to possiblities.

1. next to the one who gives you the quest to deliver the printing machine part. you can just talk to him when you solved the quest with the part for the printing machine.

2. at the first floor in the middel of the room you are standing he's a little hidden maybe.

The way you discrbed to save gecko is the normal way, it has notthing to do with the expansion. ;-)
 
ok i finally can get to brother max thx for that

and second i must be blind to not have seen brother paul right in middle of the first floor ( i guess those grey robes must be some kind of camouflage) BUT I FOUND YOU PAUL TAKE THAT :slap:

no you aren't blind. I had some troubles, too. I run up and down a few times before I had seen him. :-)

Brother Paul is wearing dark robes and almost blends into the background. For me, he's in the center of the room on the second floor, where the computer you want to access is located.
 
Need some help. I'm at the EPA and I'm at the Doctor's hall where the test persons are held behind the force field is there any opportunity to help the test persons out of their cage.

can I deactivate the forcefield some how?

please give me some answers.

Also, I was unable to sell Bess the cow to the slaughterhouse ....

And speaking of Modoc .. I was also unable to get laddie to come with me in search of the kid ... was there some trick to that I'm unable to remember? I know I'd pulled it off in the past, but I have to be missing something at this point, yes?
 
And another question:

a.) how can I access the plants and the enemys (sporeplants, rad skorions etc.) at sub level 3 in EPA? it always says access deniened!
where do I get the password from?

b.) how do I get the quest of the doctor to find the widget?

c.) what about sublevel blue how to I get there?

d.) I can extract a person from the cryo cells but when I come nearer to her she burns like thrown into hell? What can I do that this does not happen?

e.) I've completed all EPA quests (except the one to widget because I didn't get it) but my karma is still neutral. Is normal? Is there a possibility to get a better karma state like idolized or so?

Please, Please help anyone

i got a problem i cant make myron talk about EPA and i really want to hear about it

any ideas?

EDIT: ok i dunno if i dumb and cant find but where is the EPA?
you need to talk to someone or its already there?

for the guy with the laddie problem check if you got good karma
because barkus (the guy who give the quest) will only say to take laddie with if you got good karma/good town reputation

I've problems, too to get it out of him. do you have already met the travler and asked him about epa? if yes myron will not talk about it anymore. If not keep on asking myron about a cure of jet and at the end he'll tell you I think.

Make Myron talk about EPA

For Myron to talk about EPA you have to do certain things first:

One: tell him to wait. He will point out Golgotha's stash.

Two: After that, tell himto wait. He will now describe EPA.

Three: Tell him to wait . He will promise to carry more (+10 to weight limit).

If after step one he wont advance to step two then try taking the Golgotha's stash. After that try again.
 
I've a question I'm at the NCR I got the presidential pass. When I'm going to talk to vice president Carlson he olny says "come back later". Even if I ask his kid to aks him the kid says "my dad can't see you".

What is deal with that? do I've do to someting else first?
 
Nope, all wrong. After step one comes step three. Doesn't matter whether you learn about the endorphins first or not or if you've gone to EPA or not. And he doesn't tell you about EPA when you ask him for pre-war bases.
He also doesn't get the +10 weight carrying when he tells he will carry more stuff.
:lol:

So there's either a bug or some weird hidden nostrum to be found. Probably the first though. Maybe it's the NPC appearance pack?

as for fasciana's question carlson is just there for assassination he don't do anything related to any quest (exept that he is part of one) :twisted:

First of all big thanks for this mod ! It rocks !
Have a little problem finding/enter EPA i have killed
that little Rat Myron !! Now driving around the world map
trying to get an encounter that will tell me/mark the EPA
position on my map and only getting aliens and so on
no useful encounters, have a high int and outdoors skill
running the game on win 98.

Do i have to start all over from new reno and bring Myron ?

I think you can also learn the location of EPA from a traveler in a random encounter.

@ c3p0 do you have the newst expansion installed? Now another question to see wether the expansion works correctly - did you already encountered Kaga? If not there is definitly something wrong and you won't encounter the traveler anymore. check out page 24 for more information!

And DO NOT START A NEW GAME UNTIL YOU READ MY POST AT THE NEXT PAGE. YOU SHOULD READ ANS MAYBE TRY OUT WHAT I SUGGESTED.

He can check that simply by starting a new game and clicking on a stone in front of the Temple of Trials.
