The EPA elevators weren't working because I managed to miss that one line in ddraw.ini when upgrading sfall. However, after fixing that, the elevators seem to work except when I try to go to another floor with them, the game crashes with an invalid memory access error. EDIT: Even reloading a previous save from prior to visiting the EPA doesn't seem to help. Hrm. Could it be the new version of sfall itself that's causing the problem, and should I downgrade it to an older one, presumably the one that came with that RP?

For the record, successfully downgrading sfall from 2.17 to 2.12 (the version that ships with the RP) fixed the elevators, even with a preexisting save. I'm not sure why the newer sfall broke them like that, since all my options were set the same way (at least the ones that existed in 2.12), but it might be worth looking into.
 
Can you fix BUG in critical miss effects?

•First two effects in rocket launcher type seem to be bugged, as ”fired a dud shot” is less severe than ”lost next turn”.

•The ”miss” effect in flamers type can still cause damage to the target - as is the case of every missed shot with a flamer.

I noticed ever since installing the RP, I haven't been getting insta-kill crits...Not from my guns, or my unarmed or anything, and I have beaten the game and used the FO2 hintbook to boost everything to 300%.

For reference, I'm referring to the ones that say something to the effect of "Unfortunately, X critter is too busy feeling the rush of air upon his brain to feel death approaching." These type of crits usually don't do a ton of HP damage, but they instantly kill the creature. And I haven't had a single one of these in an entire playthrough.

Is this a bug, or did Killap take insta-kill crits out of the game?

Except rats, you can only get the instant death critical hits on critters with Better Criticals perk, even in vanilla. I don't have any problem getting insta-kills in both killap's unofficial patch and RP.
 
Hmm...I have to check to see if I got that perk, but I **think** I did...I usually do in my playthroughs. But good to know it's not a bug, maybe I just didn't reach the level to get the perk, or I put it off for some reason. I'll have to look at Ari's char sheet now O.o
 
Kitsune has 3 action points

Hi guys.
I recently got back to my old RP saves after almost a year without touching F2 of any form. And after just a few minutes I've realized, that Kitsune is totally useless as she has only 3 AP's. I thought it had something to do with broken leg or some drug use, but found no evidence whatsoever. This may have something to do with levelling-up, as I've found that this problem exists only in saves where she already has 90 HP's, and it seems ok when she's only 80.

I looked through this topic and found nothing concerning my problem. Any thoughts or solutions other than replaying this part (which would be a pure pleasure anyway)?
 
Marcus armor

All right, I've dealt with the problem above simply by replaying some part, now a real issue: can't get special armor for Marcus. I know where it is supposed to be (should I avoid spoilers?), I'm going there with Marcus in my team, yet I have no dialogue option about getting armor for him, just some chat about caravans and simple "i want buy stuff" text. Oh, and I'm 100% sure that I installed all RP content, including this feature as well.
 
You need to pass a speech or barter check (I'm not too sure which one). Maybe don't touch that armor for now, once you put in on you can't take if off IIRC. The next version of the RP will have a nice new artwork for the item, and Marcus will be able to take it off, etc.

*Marcus's metal armor now has a ground and inventory item. It's not prefect, but it will do the job.

When i try to change cassidy his army he DISSEAPEARS from game

he will just vanish in thin air leavving nothing behind
what is causing this?

Sounds like a bad installation. How did you install the RP?
 
just install fallout 2 humongeous and then install the RP project since it fixes all bugs and stuff
that the proper way right?


I also found some bugs during my playthrough

I am missing anna's locket in het grave so i have to hack to get that item there ^.^

and in broken hills
When I have talked to Jacob(IIRC that his name is and aileen his wife)
and help escape the prisoners and after talk to jacob for second quest I accept it and then go back to marcus to report


then When i have to option to report jacob&aileen for blowing up the mine)

and the option to tell him where the escaped prisoners are

when I either CLICK on one of those options

the game just set it on i have clicked both on them
i immedialtly get a msg that i have done a good job in reporting in jacob*aileen and helping the town by finding the convicts again

However i only get XP from the report of aileen and stuff


and sometimes(not often but very rarely) when I enter a map doesn't matter which one the screen goes black and i have to kill the fallout 2 proces and start over again


In any case i don't know if fallout 2 got a log of mods installed and how i installed them but BG and one
if it does exist maybe i can post it for u?

I have a question regarding the latest Restoration mod. I'm trying to get the Infinite Party members mod + Miria mod with the Restoration project. I installed the Restoration mod first, then installed the Miria mod and finally installed the Infinite Party members mod, however now the B-team mod included in the Restoration patch doesn't work. I think that is likely that the Infinite Party members mod replaced the B-team mod files. Does anyone have an idea on how to get these mods working together.

For reference, I'm using these mods:

Did you delete any traces of previous installation before? I do remember that bug with a disappearing Cassidy from some of the earlier versions of RP; it worked fine for me in 2.1.2b though.
 
when i found about the RP

i installed Fo2 again and then the RP MOD

I also found some other bugs

the guy in redding the one that guards the shopkeeper, when i plant a timed bomb on him
and it goes off he doesn't die but the bomb explodes twice then after the game crashes

and neither can i use alot of stimpacks on someone to let him die
but this was maybe fixed by RP?

i don't know
 
Hi, first of all congratulate killap on a great mode.

wanted to know the gvars for suliks sister quest. I already killed mezger and all the slaves are gone so i cant find the camp.

Hello all,

I'm trying to get the "Cafe of Broken Dreams" encounter at a fairly low level (7). I want to have Dogmeat nice and levelled up by the time I'm storming the Enclave, you see. Thing is, despite dozens of reloads and moving around the world map, I haven't encountered it once, even though I've seen quite a lot of other special encounters (e.g. I've had the "Spammer" encounter about six times now). I saw in Per's guide that the level requirement is supposed to be 6 for this Cafe encounter - is that what it is in this RP, or was it increased beyond that? Or is there still no level requirement?

Why can't Kitsune open locks when she's wearing Power Armor?
How do you get rid of those rocks at the EPA? Blowing them up doesn't work.
