Fallout 3 at E3 - Gametactics.com interview

And another strike for double posting, re-gravedigging and being a dick again.

Also, if you had actually read Per's initial post on the subject you know why he said you were multiplying unrelated numbers. There was no talk about MIRVs, anywhere. There was certainly no talk of a bomb that weighed 8800 kgs. He also showed you why the velocity was wrong.
Alsoplustoo, you came up with energy in Watt-hours which is all really very nice, but has jack shit to do with explosive force.
See, the subject here was the bomb they have lying around in Megaton. You completely bypassed that, and tried to show 'big crater' by using numbers *unrelated to that*.

I will then say for the weak at hearted crew, there is nothing about my math that is flawed.

Fine. Your math isn't flawed. I'm sure your whizkid friend can take out his calculator and multiply some numbers describing what sound an elephant makes if you fart it towards Manhattan at the speed of grenade shrapnel. This also is only of passing interest to the good citizens of Megaton.

But hey, let's say you're right. An entire MIRV of the biggest kind ever made doesn't split up, lands with the greatest speed an individual warhead ever attains, causing what you describe as a "big fucking boom", while remaining intact and fully functional. Bethesda's demo must then be one of the greatest practical jokes played on the gaming community. Whether or not you decide to detonate the bomb cannot matter in the least, because clearly the casing is strong enough to contain the blast.
