Fallout 3 at E3 - The Escapist

That's just insane. I have no strenght to comment on such lies. Did the gaming journalists made some pact with Bethesda?

Although other arguments may be valid, this is not. The Fallout 3 is said to be set on 2277 not 2072. I think you should fix (remove) that one on the NMA news as it looks pretty bad to blame Beth with broken argument that quotes the Escapist wrong.

Who's blaming Beth for this, and why would we fix other people's mistakes in quotes?

no one is blaming beth for the date thing, Pahakarhuz.

we're kinda making fun of the Escapist.

mostly because they've even interviewed one of our admins and seemingly cant even bother to get their fact straight (even if it would just take a single mail to one of our admins to check the stuff).

So in the article here: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/1279-E3-2007-Fallout-3

The Escapist says: Set two hundred years after a nuclear war devastated the Earth, Fallout 3 puts you in the shoes of one of the descendants of a brave, careful few who hid themselves away from the nuclear terror in a communal fallout shelter called a vault.

Not: Set in 2072, two hundred years after a nuclear war devastated the Earth (...)

Edit: Even though it may be fun to bash unprofessional writers then at least the bashing should be done professionally.

Say, they corrected it?! Read the comments sir...

I suspect foul play, friend.

Why do all these new sources feel the urge to regurgitate the same damn information about the same damn demo every five seconds?

Yeah, that seems to be the case.

Good job Escapist! You just hit the bottom! Well, atleast they can't get any worse.
Don't use this phrase. After that, it almost always gets worse.
Next Escapist will be about how badly previous FOs sucked donkey balls and that they were supposed to be like FO3 but BI and IP weren't as talented as bethesda -,-

They didn't have the technology to permit total imm3rshun ( and shiny graphiXXX ) either...

Also, is it me or the fact that Bethesda didn't release any public screenshot or video or anything at all during the E3 is rather deceiving ?

One only has to wonder why the utterly unplayable FO1 and FO2 still sell like hot cookies...

They were selling pretty well before Bethesda bought it or announced anything. In Poland, I don't think there's been a period in the last 9 years when Fallout wasn't on sale.

Let me see, let me see. Wow a new a rticle about F3. And yes it's another marketing masterpiece. Spreading the buzz, don't they. Well, as they used the ST fanbase and then brought that down, they are trying to use the old tactic of divide et impera. Again!
Bethesda's propaganda war machine it's pourring this to the unsuspected poor little fanboy(girl) without knowing that people from the original Fallout are a lot more resilient to brainwashing. And yes, they do throw with the money around trying to convince us that the original Fallout were actually the biggest disappointment from the gaming history(those 2 first Fallout were lackking everything that Bethesda is offering to the fanbase as a great act of their grace: cool graphics, more cool graphics, the first person perspective and a fabulous camera - oh wait, none of us asked for those).
Already, Bethesda is showing us the complete lack of knowledge of the original history line, but hey the past is all in our minds.
"He who controls the past, controls the future. He who controls the future, controls the past." Does this sounds orwellian enough for you???
