Fallout 3 at E3 - The Escapist

Well, the LARP description partly comes from RPGCodex, where it is often used to describe what some fans of Oblivion think of roleplaying; which is more akin to playing pretend.
That's exactly what I meant. I talked with a Bethesda fangirl and she talked about how Oblivious is great, because she can own a house, live in the game world, work in the game world, live in the game world after finishing the main quest, how she can kill off a village and turn everyone to zombies and mainly how everything is fed to her senses with next-gen FPP 3d graphics.

Simply it can be said that FPP "RPGs" emulate LARPing just as Fallout emulates Tabletop gaming.

I refuse to believe it's real  . It didn't happen, I didn't read it and certainly no one wrote it :) . It's just a halucination :) . Yes, a halucination :D .

That's good Sorrow... You're making progress at being a virtual LARPer! :P
I remember when I first read that link, I seriously thought it was a rather hilarious joke.

When the Fallout 3 forums started up, and there was talk of the dialogue, I remember that that there were people there who actually prefer Oblivions dialogue system because they can imagine what the character says.

I-is that for real?

I started picking out things to quote for ultimate stupidity but there was too much.

First thing that I read:
"Owning Horses

If you own a horse, it can be fun to roleplay owning, riding, and taking care of them. "

I'm gonna go roleplay owning, driving, and putting gas in my car.

I actually do that a lot in games, ranging from Fallout to Morrowind.

But you're a furry, and according to Sorrow they're more liable to be LARPers.
