Fallout 3 Bridge Crossing Video

Actually I just noticed something that pleases me a lot. Watch it again and listen to the music when the radios not on, very low key and ambient even during the combat. I wonder if the early report of it jarringly switching to more bombastic music was inaccurate or if they decided to change it. I always kinda disliked it in the elder scrolls when it switched to high energy music just to kill a rat in one swing and go back to the exploration folder.
 
So, when you score a critical hit, a little image pops up in the left hand corner to tell you. Is that new?
 
Hmmm... if I were armed with only a dagger I certainly wouldn't be charging at a guy wielding a junk launcher that gibs human flesh. That's just me though... who knows what radiation can do to the mind.
 
Per's captions gave me two great flashbacks.

Half Life 2: finding the broken toy baby near the beginning, so you could pretend it was the end boss critter (Nihilanth, was it?) from HL1 and throw it at the Civil Protection thugs. Hearing it "wahhh" was so special.

Blood: The voodoo doll. Especially the way it would sigh and convulse when you hatpinned it in the crotch.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that my flashbacks were of shooters...

Edit: This is the video with the Pipboy world map, right? If so, special request for lots of good shots of the map, so I can map it in Google Earth. Price posted some in another thread in General Fallout, but I don't think they're HD.

At an extremely high velocity I could see teddy bears doing some damage (2-5 dmg), but nothing gib-worthy.

What if the teddy bear were filled with rocks and screws instead of cotton? I mean it can't be that hard to weaponize a teddy bear.
 
So you are in the wasteland, and you take the time to fill the teddy bear with rocks and screws? All that work, and as soon as you shoot it the first time the bear rips apart and rocks and screws spray out like milk from a child's nose.

Why not just shoot baseball sized rocks.......and save yourself the time?

You've (presumably) seen Todd's aim in the preview videos, do you think he would trust himself with less ammo for demo purposes?

Hell, he even had trouble attempting to land a few hits on an absolutely massive pileup of cars.

I don't like this rock-it-thing. If I will play Fallout 3, then without touching this thing.
