Fallout 3 Collector's Edition

Honestly, F3's CE looks VERY uninteresting. A toy, an artbook and a lunchbox. If I'll have kids, then maybe the lunchbox could be of use, but honestly, this is at least 5 years in the future. No T-Shirt, no rad-pills or Nuka Cola and above else, no soundtrack.....goddamnit, can't they even make a decent Collector's Edition???

i totally agree. theres nothing in there that i would want. i'll bet they charge suckers at least $100 extra for it. i'll just take the game, i guess.

I've seen much worse. I don't think this is a bad set of junk. Lunchbox may be worthless but how often does any CE come with anything useful? (apart from Bos' condoms, but you know what, I'd take this stuff instead, if I cared about CEs) I don't think this is bad at all.

Compared to Age of Decadence normal edition, this "special" edition looks like crap, specially considering it costs 20$ more in US, and 30$=20€ in europe. I lold.

We in Europe would have to pay more for the 'local' Fallout Special Edition than the US version?

In absolute numbers, we in (Western) Europe always pay more for our games than they do in the US, because of the current EU-USD exchange rate.

Talk about being ripped off, well if I really (and that is quite questionable) have to have this game I'll import it from the US.

Then you'll have to pay shipping (and taxes), and you'll probably even out at the same prize.

But them's the facts. To give a recently released example, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is available for 50 USD in the US, 50 EUR in the EU and 25 BP in the UK.

25 BP is 49 USD right now, thanks to the falling rate of the BP, but we're less fortunate, but 50 EUR is a whopping 79 USD.

But hell, this isn't just true of games, it's true of everything. It's why shopping trips to New York are currently really popular weekend tourism targets. People boy iPods, laptops and the like there, en masse.

T-Shirt, a Witcher's medallion, artbook - 160 pages, book describing monsters in game - 120 pages, Witcher card game, 2 page map of the game's word. Soundtrack is there, of course. 25 songs.

Fallout 3 doesn't even give you a T-Shirt and other stuff is, well, useless. There is nothing in there that would convince me to ponny up the additional cash for it. But again - it is unconfirmed, isn't it?

No, it's confirmed now.

Videogames t-shirts are for nerds and 40 years old virgins. It's a good thing that the collector edition does not contain one. You should never wear one...Never ever ! Bad !
