Sometimes I feel that game companies today suffer the same problem that doomed our other great NA companies these days - the too many meeting syndrome.
Somebody had a great idea..., let's talk about it, hey that wasn't the character profile that I had in mind, let's have a meeting..., we can't decide on something, let's have more meetings..., we need to be democratic but with a central vision, action.., yeah, sex..., yeah, 4 million cans of mountain dew later, hey wouldn't that be a funny idea..., 5000 slices of double cheese later, oh, that would be so funny..., hey wait, we have a deadline...., let's wrap it up boys, some of us have a family to go back to..., really...., print, ship, and it's a wrap!
