I tried force unleashed and that was ahorribly boring an mediocre(maybe below even) game. And i like modern console games... (those AAA ones usually are entertaining to me.) And ive heard it sold pretty good. Well different tastes and all that i guess.

suprising that F3 didnt do better. Havent played CoD or Lpb though.
from the trailers I see about the force unleasehed there was one thing I missed. You can cut a lot of things with your light saber, but strange enough never enemies -.- I mean that was one of the best things in Jedi Knight Outcast!

I'm surprised Metal Gear Solid 4 wasn't at the very least nominated for the writers guild award. Then again it was created by a non-American company. So that may have played a factor. Or the nominees may have to be American companies in order to be eligible, and Konami is japanese.

::edit:: they do at the very least nominate games developed in europe but published by an american company. That being Witcher.

From MTV.com:
The winner last year was obscure PSP action game “Dead Head Fred,” which was up against nominees “Crash of the Titans,” “The Simpsons Game,” “The Witcher” and “World in Conflict.
