And an aside: Is it me or just below his helmet on the brown chestplate thingy there is a picture of a wolf's head. Does anyone else see it?

That's not a wolf's head, it's the Sinistar.

Saw the thumbnail of the photo and got really excited, then looked at the fullsize picture and like many others am disapointed it's textuers look like shit.

Yep that's probably because textrure is mirrored from one side to another. Anyway Post-Nuclear Witcher
and the texture really looks shitty, I hope that the guy who writtenm this guide was playing the game on low details

Yep, mirrored... down to the bullet holes on the shoulder pads.
At least the red arrow on the helmet isn't mirrored too, that would've been pretty funny.

Hehe, I haven't thought about that game in a long, long time! But you're right!

Here's a screen of my character wearing t51-b armor and an alien blaster. They're quite hard-to-get items btw...Not given as a quest reward as i saw somewhere...(800 kb, imageshack link)

[spoiler:16e9e906e0]I believe these ones are the best weapon(crits almost all the time, even though there're only 300 cells(ammo) for it in the game) and the best armor (no side effects, i may give you exact values of dr and bonuses).

And a spoiler about the Medical Power Armor:
[spoiler:16e9e906e0]And remember: medical power armor unit is your friend!Talking one :)[/spoiler:16e9e906e0]
Also, i made an update about Vault 92 in Fallout Wikia (the history of it was clear before), maybe i'm not exactly right, but hey, that's what i've read in the terminals around there.

[spoiler:8aa5d2754b]They seem to have done a lot of work on their own design power armor, but the FO1/2 BOS power armor is really made to look bad[/spoiler:8aa5d2754b]

Aiiii! Me eyes! All that bloom hurts my brain.
You can always turn it off and turn the aa on :)
When i have aa and af turned on via my driver i got some strange lags while using vats and pip-boy.
This never happened though after i switched the hdr off and turned this options on via game launcher.

Hmmm...

Can't say it looks very good. Lacks polish, looks kinda simple, looks like they just used some plate armor model (though that's true of their own PAs as well)

Still, it's a start

Here're some more screens for you to discuss. They're all made in a place where you find t51-b. And, btw, i spent a couple of hours to get that stuff specially to post it here :D
T51-b front, rear, and alien blaster shootin'.
I also always thought that there was some kind of cooler on the back op PA in FO1,2, not a VENT.

And also..The UFO itself and the alien look pretty nice..Kinda in 50's style..

The armour looks odd because of the size of the head in relation to the body. That and it looks flatter than the originals. If Beth went with a more stylized look versus realistic we could have the large chested armour like in F1/2.

It definitely doesn't look like the original power armor. Add another voice that agrees that it really looks like plate mail. Steam-punk plate mail.
