Fallout 3 pirated, videos spread

well i can tell listening to the president is going to get annoying real fast

He's got, what, 3 or 4 speeches in a constant loop, and none of them are very good.

Enclave Radio will get very old, very fast, especially since the music is annoying as well.

But Gamerbrain is telling me that many lulz are to be had because of how stupid it is.

You'd be surprised how many people played Oblivion exclusively as a game where you could mess with the stupid AI.

I adhere to the feelings of your Gamerbrain. Seeing the video of the Vault-Dweller mutilating a super-mutant with a sledge hammer did make me chuckle..yet die on the inside alittle.

*Edit* Am I the only one finding this gray area of non-posting leaked content but talking about it tongue-in-cheek fucking hilarious?

I see VATS getting incredibly stale.

They've really killed a lot of the things that made FO enjoyable.

Hope the Oblivion fans are happy, I think they just got their total conversion.

are we to believe this person playing is a hacked character who can pull off instagib vats kills? or is this part of bethesda's master plan.

RE: difficulty

F3 is a modern video game in that you need to turn the difficulty up as high as it will go if you want to be challenged at all. Doing this worked wonders for CoD2, Far Cry, Bioshock (actually had to restrict weapons to pistols/plasmids there). Anyone ever play Robin Hood mode in Thief?

If you don't want to be challenged, I think that's fine sometimes you just play games to role play a certain story or whatever.

He's high level. And apparently that means being able to take out Regulators with two always-hit headshots. I dunno. it's how the game works.

I saw another playthrough with a lower-level character who was having a lot of trouble with ants. So it does depend heavily on level/equipment (or maybe that guy sucked at FPSs), so that's a good thing

The different videos of people playing have show very poorly skilled players. Or is the game really that difficult?

It is not.

I've seen how lvl 4 guy killed super mutant with 2 shots from hunting rifle. On "normal" difficulty setting. With the small guns skill of 30.

So much for them being bad asses. I wasn't paying attention to the skills of the pc's in the videos. That's just horrible.

Edit: I think I've ruined like half the game already by watching all this crap. But it's like a train wreck you can't look away.

So I take it that the entire game is just pick up a gun on "normal" difficulty and blast away.

For whatever reason I doubt it bethesda is run by idiots who think that Oblivion was of a too high of a difficulty even when "leveled".

Give me a break.

Well, let see a 30 on a 100 scale would equate to what a 60 on the originals 200 scale....or was it a 300 scale?

That would be a 60 at level 4 with a hunting rifle...yeah I could kill a SM under those requirements in FO2.

However, they have said before, that the SM and other characters on the fringes of DC are much weaker then the ones you find in downtown and other levels so I am curious how downtown area supers are at low levels.

One of the previewers mentioned he had to completely avoid all the baddies near down town and run to rivet city. Claimed it took him multiple saves and reloads to get to rivet city this way.

Just a BOS Palandin. The armor looks bad, really really bad.

It looks like some jacked up modern samurai gear.

Maybe SPECIAL doesn't work and was implemented only cosmetically.

Well, for example you can't interact with the bomb in Megaton if you have demolitions(or science?) below 25.
You can not lockpick if you lack lockpick skill...

And so on.

A pity i do not have Xbox 360, 'cause i still can't decide whether to buy this game for the PC or not.

It's not Fallout (to my mind, the lore is completely ruined), but maybe a nice game to give some time away. It has "Bioshock-like" style of gameplay and i liked Bioshock on Hard difficulty.

Are there any hopes the graphics will look sharper on the PC? I cannot imagine playing this with a controller either.

Never played Oblivion on consoles...

Pc version of it looked better than the console one?

If you have a really high-end computer, sure.

The game is pretty badly optimized, so you had to play it with reduced settings on most rigs.

I might be a in a minority here but I find the Power Armor to look pretty cool, it's imposing as heck.

Perhaps, it just looks a little too hokey to me.

And wait until you see one of the ghoul dirivitives.

I look forward to reactions to it.

I have IntelCore 2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66GHz 3.00Ghz, 4,00 Gb Ram, and overclocked NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512, Vista Ultimate Sp1/Xp Sp3(x86 versions). Oblivion runs smooth, but sometimes (with aax8 and all tree technologies on max) it still lags a little (i mean framedrops), even though i had no lags while playing Crysis: Warhead on enthusiast settings.

To my mind, Fallout 3 won't lag. There are not many trees there, aye?

But the question was about the quality of graphics.. And if Oblivion looked better on PC, FO3 will look better on PC as well, imo.
