Fallout 3 Point Lookout Previews

Could Point Lookout be able even remotely to depict that?

Actually let's change to to "I'm sure" to "I hope".

It would be nice but I'm sure I wont be able to loot cans of food from a shack without getting an axe to the head from some mutant. And while in "the road" you had random encounters with incredibly twisted individuals (cannibalistic sexual predators) they are few and far in between.

Cannibalistic and sexual are taboo words for Bethesda.

They are too political correct, too square to implement this.

Watchdogs don’t like it, and besides sales would go down due to that.

Oh,IDK,dude, let’s leave it as is, my heart hurts already, let’s don’t push it further. :(

Actually, only sexual. There is cannibalism in FO3.

Bethesda's target audience makes themselves known:

Almost funny.

Although I don't follow this game as closely as I was, there is some kind of profound amusement in how, let's say, far, can someone without imagination, let's say, go, in pursuit for money...

Don't get me wrong, it's far better then killing for money, prostitute or something like that, but still, there must be a better jobs than that...

When I'm thinking about it, does anybody alive talks any more how C&C would be implemented and how complex it will be? Or about meaningful stats?

Or, is it passé also?

Ah, I thought it was obvious. I meant: in this game+dlc's. My mistake.

Nevertheless, all I see from these reviews is fps part. Only time they mentioned PC level is in terms to kill something... Or to blow things up real good.

You know, considering the fact that any Bethesda game (at least since Oblivion) has to be in any way political correct doomed any Fallout project in the hands of Bethesda already from the begining. They even have cut (almost) any nuclear reference and the megaton quest from the Japanese version cause they feared any issue regarding the nuclear bombs that have been droped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Even when there never was a sign for any issues regarding it (nuclear references and weapons have been already present in Japanese media and games for quite some time ...). They are paranoid when it comes to sales and such I tell you ...

As long they dont have the balls to make anything that REALLY has adults as target audience we always will get a game from Bethesda that is not much more then a shooter in content, cause all know that violance is FU**** funny.

It is actually logical for Bethesda to make tougher DLC, because knowing their games Fallout 3 doesn’t have good replayability and people probably wouldn’t start a new game just to try new DLC. Most people have high level character. So they are making ubertribals. In previous Fallouts you could kill tribals quite early but Enclave patrol was deadly even at high level. Looks like they have switched places.

Sure it's funny in a base way, so are fart jokes and Judd Apatow movies.
The point Bethesda misses is that it's possible to be funny without scraping the bottom of the barrell. It's possible to make money without pandering to the LCD. They've had this bland, corporate "McRPG" approach to the genre ever since the old guard left.

They do for RPGs what Taco Bell does for Mexican food.
Which is make money by serving rubbish to the mainstream.

But are they the bad guys? The good guys? Do such concepts even exist in a post-apocalyptic, ghoul-ridden world?
well there's only one way to be sure

kill one and see if it drops a finger or an ear
