Glad to see they're not giving Europe the cold shoulder, as so many other American game companies do. Still...I imagine these previews won't be offering any new info from what we've already seen/read/heard.

Shiiittt, I wish we had the same saying in Polish I find it strange that a Polish magazine isn't on the list though. But they are probably just NOT ALLOWED to talk about it because if they did the earth's core would explode and we would all die.

They did. They gave 9/10 to Fallout Tictacs and now they write about the "New Generation Of Roleplaying".

There are no credible CG magazines in Poland. Not since Gambler died.

I completely and wholeheartedly agree. One other really good Polish magazine was Top Secret, i really enjoyed reading it, it had an unique style and they never were afraid to mash a game considered "godly" by rest of the world, same as Gambler. But those were different times.

Now we're left with magazines which are more like twisted shades of what credible journalism should be..

How much is CD-Action in Poland now anyway? I remember that when I left Poland in 2002 it was already ridiculous, so I'm guessing it is even worse now.

My favourite reviewer was Jacek Piekara - one of the few journalists that was really critical towards games. He gave 65% to Fallout 2 and was one of the few reviewers that dared to criticize Starcraft . Also, I remember how Alex once made an article about what exclusives really are including a copy of exclusivity agreement.

To me, the whole gaming journalism is screwed up - they have horribly low standards and for some reason think that a rating like 6/10 doesn't mean that game is good and playable.
Most of games that get 9/10 deserve 6/10 and ratings like 9/10 should be reserved for really great games like Fallout.
