I fully intend to, Mech. Unfortunately, as I have proven here a few times over, people will not bother to read the rest of the discussion at the site before they'll chime in with their own two uneducated cents. Also, not having read some of the threads at TES, I would be adverse to doing the same. There is a polite and apropos action at this time that will remove from any doubt as if the person in the same thread has read the subject material. After all, they are replying to the subject, so it shouldn't be too hard to ask that they keep on topic.
Therefore, I need to supplant a heavy amount of reference material that should answer most questions fairly completely. It is going to take a fair bit of time, but it has a lot of material down right now. It does cover a myriad of Fallout's aspects (with design comparisons between Morrowind as a base of reference for TES fans to have an easier time understanding how), including the flaws, and then next is what I would consider to be good additions to or possibly better ways of fixing some problems. That latter part of the article will be wholly subjective to my opinion, of course, while the previous should be as accurately possible as I can, verifiable by the designers and source material themselves (Fo1, Fo2).
For miniscule facts about Fallout history, I would have to defer to Mr. Carrot, Saint Proverbius, or Per, as between them they know the setting better than anyone else. At least that is what I've seen. I don't quite remember the designations for some of the small items, but I know what they are. It is, again, why I am replaying through both of the CRPGs. I like to think I can put it down in a way approachable for developers and with a no-bullshit guarantee.
So, I will post at Bethesda's forums, in time. I have a bit of work to do, but I have at least gotten the basic message across. Now it is time to elaborate. I am in contact otherwise with some people there at Bethesda. I do give a welcome to Kathode and any other Bethesda developers who have registered here to speak with us. I do hope you will share news with us from time to time, but please be careful. The Fallout fans are a tetchy lot, and while they do get bitter about some things, not all are nasty. A lot of those are the usual two-forum trolls at SA who do these things for kicks.
I do ask that people respect the rules of the forum, written and unwritten as they are. There is no unjust flaming of developers, and we (or at least I), do not mind if a developer gives a flame back, unless they are completely poor at it like Derek Smart. On the same note, we do not tolerate blind fanboying for any developer. If you do or don't like someone doing something, say why as if you have a brain.
