Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

I don't think Fallout 3 is remembered for being a masterpiece. In fact its kinda remember as the opposite with many and just a dumb but fun time waster for most.

On this forum...

eveywhere else it's considered a master piece. I have never met/seen anyone being negative on Fallout 3.

Of course it has some flaws but when looking af the broader picture it is the best game I have ever played.

Wow, you must live in a really small world. Everywhere else has said the same thing about Fallout 3 as they have Skyrim. Its either a really dumb and bland game with little or dumbed down RPG mechanics or a guilty pleasure and dumb but fun time waster. Only with rabid Beth fanboys or paid critics do you see it being called a masterpiece.

This is the only place I have seen people that comsider Fallout 3 dumb fun. Everywhere else people were raving about it.

Like the Bethesda forums? You must be a troll because I never really seen and read anyone raving about Fallout 3. They say that they like it or it was fun but you they also say that it was flawed and that they didn't care for the plot and dialogue. In fact most gamers and even millennials I've talked to say they much prefer NV over Fallout 3.

Never been to the Bethesda forum.

I have literally never seen anyone who played Fallout 3 and wasn't raving about it. (except on NMA)

Been playing fallout since i was 8 and let me tell you this is the best one ive ever seen to date even better than my all time favourite F2 or Arcanum!

This is my first post, but I felt i had to come here and agree with you all as to just how much of a worthy successor this title truly is. The sheer brilliance of removing that pesky and burdensome dialogue, i used to spend hours in fallout 2 just working my way through the dialogue thank god thats out what a waste of time it was!
Another brilliant improvement over the classic fallouts and NV is the Removal of skills, I mean who really wants to have to spend time AND effort actually thinking about mundane things such as numbers besides they hardly made a difference anyway now we have the enlightened perk system! Why have skills AND perks and confuse the user when you can roll em into one package another enlightened maneuver by Bethoosda.

Furthermore all the comments about the opening scene being unrealistic are utter rubbish! I mean come on didnt you see the graphics it all looked pretty real to me so i fail to see your point.

All in all Bethusda have out done them selves this time and this is indeed a worthy successor to pong (im sure many people will rage at that it was a good game for its time) and i would really like every one to stop flaming Fallout 3 it might not be the old Fallout you were used to but it is obviously a fantastic improvement across the board!

They went full Skyrim in some of the perks:
Iron Fist:

• Rank 1: Channel your Chi to unleash devastating fury! Punching attacks do 20% more damage to your opponent. (Requires: STR 1)
• Rank 2: Punching attacks now do 40% more damage and can disarm your opponent.
• Rank 3: Punching attacks now do 60% more damage. Unarmed Power Attacks have a chance to cripple one of your opponent's limbs.
• Rank 4: Punching attacks now do 80% more damage. Unarmed Power Attacks have an increased chance to cripple one of your opponent's limbs.
• Rank 5: Punching attacks now do double damage. Criticals in V.A.T.S will paralyze your opponent.

Big Leagues:

• Rank 1: Swing for the fences! Do 20% more melee weapon damage (Requires: STR 2)
• Rank 2: Do 40% more melee weapon damage and gain a chance to disarm your opponent.
• Rank 3: Do 60% more melee weapon damage and gain an increased chance to disarm your opponent.
• Rank 4: Do 80% more melee weapon damage and hit all targets in front of you.
• Rank 5: You now do double damage with a melee weapon, and gain a chance to cripple your opponent, or grand slam their head clean off! (Requires: Level 42, STR 2)

Heavy Gunner:

• Rank 1: Thanks to practice and conditioning, heavy guns do 20% more damage.
• Rank 2: Heavy guns now do 40% more damage, and have improved hip fire accuracy.
• Rank 3: Heavy guns now do 60% more damage. Hip fire accuracy is increased even more.
• Rank 4: Heavy guns now do 80% more damage and have a chance to stagger your opponent.
• Rank 5: Heavy guns now do double damage.

Basher:

• Rank 1: Get up close and personal! Gun bashing does 25% more damage. (Requires: STR 8)
• Rank 2: Gun bashing now does 50% more damage and possibly cripples your opponent. (Requires: Level 5, STR 8)
• Rank 3: Gun bashing now does 75% more damage and has an increased chance to cripple your opponent. (Requires: Level 14, STR 8)
• Rank 4: Gun bashing does double damage and has an increased chance to cripple your opponent. It may also inflict a Critical Hit. (Requires: Level 26, STR 8)

Pickpocket:

• Rank 1: Your quick hands and sticky fingers make picking pockets 25% easier. (Requires: PER 1)
• Rank 2: Picking pockets is now 50% easier. You can place a live grenade in a person's inventory.
• Rank 3: Picking pockets is now 75% easier, and you can steal equipped weapons.
• Rank 4: Picking pockets is now twice as easy, and you can steal equipped items.

Rifleman:

• Rank 1: Keep your distance long and your kill-count high. Attacks with non-automatic rifles do 20% more damage. (Requirements: PER 2)
• Rank 2: Attacks with non-automatic rifles now do 40% more damage and ignore 15% of a target's armor. (Requirements: Level 8, PER 2)
• Rank 3: Attacks with non-automatic rifles now do 60% more damage and ignore 20% of a target's armor. (Requirements: Level 28, PER 2)
• Rank 4: Attacks with non-automatic rifles now do 80% more damage and ignore 25% of a target's armor. They also have a slight chance of crippling a limb. (Requirements: Level 38, PER 2)
• Rank 5: Attacks with non-automatic rifles now do double damage and ignore 30% of a target's armor. They also have a slightly higher chance of crippling a limb. (Requirements: Level ???, PER 2)

I'm so sad after watching leaked gameplays. Fallout 4 looks bad. Was hoping Bethesda understood its mistakes in Fallout 3 and they will give us something much better than previous, very mediocre Fallout game. Story will probably doesnt make any sense, bad writing (Bethesda needs new, much better writers!) and everything once again seems be simpyfied. The target is stupid, American youth.
