Some kind of lucky
I would expect nothing less I guess another reason why I wanted to share the list is that it is pretty hard for me to get all the issues. Just today I was reminded of the raping of NV canon with the alien civilization. So there would need to be a mod that either removes it from the game or rewrites Cabot House to some sort of an underground side show. Your opinions are obviously valid, please continue to share, sorry if I sounded butt-hurt, I was trying to be witty. If you do so wish to discuss viable ways to turn this game into something enjoyable feel free to, but I will continue voicing my opinion no matter the amount of anger or dislike I receive.
100% agree, But I'm sure you won't complain if some savory sort makes a granny mod, turning all the betraggled settlers into bangable gilfs. I can add it to the list when the time comesIt's not an argument, dude. I'm not saying it can't be done or even that it shouldn't be done. I'm just saying that it sounds like it'll be tedious and frustrating and that personally it ain't worth my time.
I'm not switching sides here. I still think it is shit, but the one thing that NMA taught me is that so is Skyrim. I modded the crap out of that game and although I don't play it I can say that I personally made the game playable for a few. I have been on the fence with my efforts. Part of me regrets spending years to make there games better. The other part of me is proud that I made some peoples lives better by making a shit game less shit. That doesn't mean that I will be a Fallout 4 modder. I and many others might see the idea of modding 4 to the point of enjoyment akin to tearing down the great wall of China with railroad spike and a hammer. Tedious, painful, seemingly endless. All true, but this thread might be able to chip enough away over time so that the wall has a hole in it. And who doesn't like a good old fashion hole in the wall. But hey, if you figure out how to make Fallout 4 good? You figure out what mods to use and how to sync then together to make it a good game? Then please upload a compilation that has an easy install/unpack for the rest of us who don't want to spend hours if not days on something just to fix Fallout 4.
It can be overwhelming, it's certainly more difficult with mod managers as they give users a limited scope of the mod. This will only get worse with Bethesda.net and thoughtless mod installation. Taking a quick look in Edit can let you know if it is dirty or not too. You would be surprised how many mods conflict with custom followers for Skyrim because they are adding a new NPC to the shared info, or how many mods have broken navmesh. Any mod that adds a full exterior house prefab at this point does not contain working mesh. Any new areas will be the same that are not just duplicating an existing cell because F4 seems to have the same issue as NV and not all the tools were provided in the CK again. If you wanted to use a mod for Skyrim or F4, I could tell you if it is dirty or broken. It's not that I can't mod a Bethesda game. I can. I just find it frustrating and tedious enough as it is to get 10 mods to work so 49 mods? I'll pass. The time spent installing the mods and making sure that they work would be better spent masturbating to Nico Robin. Besides, I have no idea what mods will conflict and 'where' they will conflict. One mod may give a general vague description of what it does to NPC's and then another does the same and I have no idea that the two mods are conflicting over a small NPC in the ass end of nowhere that I never even knew existed. How am I supposed to know that is the issue?
Nico rocks.
