Water Chip? Been There, Done That
I found that picture on web http://breathing2004.gfxartist.com/artworks/67653

Quite impressive indeed. Except for the water between his legs, it seems a little rough and unfinished. The perspective doesn't seem quite right there; it looks like the beginning of a waterfall. But that's just nitpicking. All in all, very nice, veeeeeeeeery nice.

In detail, mood, and relevance to Fallout that is perhaps one of the best fan-art pieces I have ever seen...

It's especially inspiring to see the ocean...such an often ignored part of the world.

So the person who made this is obviously a Fallout fan, but judging by the link they arent a part of NMA. Could someone send them an email asking permission to post this in the fan-art section of NMA?

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

This one is "straight to desktop". Excellent work.
I believe this is the chosen one returning from the oil rig in the end of FO2. Those aren't regular clouds in the background, they be the clouds of the fungal variety...

you can even see Marcus in the background, and the tanker as well, and some other dude...
very good, allthough the armour is kinduv inacurate, nevermind that :D

It's got Dogmeat, Marcus, Cassidy or Vic...Absolutely wonderful. I've always thought of the Chosen One as someone that's a bit muscular, going into his/her thirties, but this...This is wonderful. He's just a kid, nineteen at most. It's absolutely wonderful.
*Gives you an Uzi Hugs and a Recees cup*

Mhm. Saw it before. Technically, it is very well done indeed. Shading, light, contrast, detail, proportions, everything.

But its anime feel makes me sick. The guy has a face of a Michael Jackson victim, and the PA isn't as bulky as it should be. Not to mention the romantic sunset or whatever it is.

I like how they included the characters and the strange nuclear storm (?) in the background and perhaps he had the armor special made in vault 13 to fit him since he's so scrawny?

Maybe.

Or maybe the author was a Final Fantasy fan and mixed up futuristic anime with Fallout.

Or maybe the Deathclaws at Vault 13 make very small power armour with their huge claws.

Or something.
