Ok I am back and have posted

I suppose now we will either get to shady sands and wait for you all or stop off at the mine and wait there

I will consult albatross on it and welsh if you wanna say anything go ahead
 
It depends on how long it will take for us at the mine to complete our mission. Besides, we are planning on checking on the raiders (at least Inne is, as soon as she gets the present mission done). Oh well, nothing says we cannot take a break at the city after the mine, before jumping in another adventure.
Pyrophenix, I am sure me and Welsh can provide some surprises to you and Albatross wheter if you two return to the mine or take another path :)
 
I am sure you two will. We are headed to shady sands but we may go to the mines because they tell us that all the out town people went to the mines. What do you think Pyro? I don't really have a preference on which way go to met with the group..
 
I myself don't really see too much of an advantage in going to the mines as we would almost be barging in to their little story.

I say we go to SHady Sands and do the advancement as i PMed you erlier.

I am sure Zoe and Welsh will swing by shady before they go after the raiders.
 
Folks take your characters were ever you want to take them. YOu're doing fine and I like it that you are taking the initiative here.

i'm starting to become an annoying nitpick, but here it goes again:

a few comments on Zoe's post

1) it was Melvin who was behind, not Dwemer. Dwemer was with the rest of the group in the control room, so no need to explain anything to him

2) Welsh posted about how the elevators cable was lying on top of the elevator itself, so it can't possibly work. however you could say the doors still worked en they closed the door behind them. (unless of course i've got it all wrong and you are refering to another elevator. if that is the case: scratch the second comment)

Note to Welsh: since Zoe isnt around that much maybe you could edit it quickly? it's only a couple of words...

It's also a problem because we have been setting this up for awhile.

dunno if holster is right but a for knives 'scarab' or something like that is often used (dunno about the spelling though)
 
Ok, Zoe, hard to tell how much time you have. The monster might be coming back for more, or it might have decided to leave you alone for now- the electric attack having surprised it.

As for getting out, there might be another way. Remember the structure of the level has been compromised and the entire facility was built within a series of old mines. So it's possible there was a break from one of the mines into the facility, explaining the flooding.

If there is another exit, there may be more. This could help the group escape. It might also mean that the creature has a means of escape as well.

Whether we have another battle with the creature or not is up to you. However, the reasons why the creature exists are found on this level. If you are able to destroy the level, you might be to destroy the source.

Note- the nature of this story is basically trying to explain where rad scorpions originally come from. This is it. The scorpions came into contact with the same stuff that the tentacle monster did, and evolved, if differently. Shady Sands suffers from lots of rad scorpions because it's close to the mines.

i posted quite a bit, hopefully no1 objects

might i suggest for the further story that the timers were not set tot 7:30 ?

anyhow, if there are any problems with the post, just tell me, i'll edit them out
 
hey I am sorry for not posting for more than 5 days but I am waiting for Albatross to post before i do( I almost always do).cause we kinda like to go back and forth with it.

anyways he is busy with college ,and I am waiting for him so Welsh please don't kill us off.

No don't worry. I won't kill you off. This is the problem with roleplay if you are waiting for someone to post. Sometimes it's better to have a few characters going on different threads or even within the same thread to keep yourself active. No worries pyro.
