Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

One more thing, guys. I'm unable to complete the Mayor's quest in Vegas, titled "Investigate the latest crimes in the city under orders of the mayor." In my inventory, I have the following items:

1. A note stolen directly from Davis.
2. A recording of a conversation with a dealer wearing blue pants and a black jacket, standing outside the Hard Rock Café.
3. The laboratory location "The Pound," found on the map.
4. A note stolen from the safe in Vortis' room (slavers).
5. A note stolen from the desk in the laboratory in "The Pound."
6. A note stolen from Tom Parker.

What am I missing?

I gave the note from Vortis (the slaver's recipe) to the police and then got it back in my inventory using the F2Explorer editor.

However, I'm not getting any dialog options to finish the quest. Thanks for your help.

I got it. For some reason, the GVAR_VEGAS_POLIC_KILLERS (256) with the description "Police killers at the exit of Clean City, attacking the main character"' wasn't set. That's correct, because for some reason, I never encountered this event in the game. I manually set this GVAR to 2 according to the decompiled Mayor's game script, and everything is OK now. I'm able to get the correct dialog option and finish the entire quest.
 
after 6-7 in-game years, all merchants stop restocking. Is this normal game (v2.0.3.4) behavior?
This is a flaw in the scripts. It was the same in Fallout 2 until Killap fixed it.
In my version, I corrected the main merchants.

Everything is fine, you just had to have a conversation with davis involving his part in the plot.. he has to threaten you, and next there's going to be a kallahan encounter at city gate.
From that moment on you only have like 1 town entrance b4 kallahan gets own3d..

Yeah forgot to say this:
the Davis threating and police ass-ass-ins afterwards is the culprit that ties Davis to the whole plot, without it it's impossible to solve mayor's quest..

In case anybody's wondering I've separated the old patch from original arroyoman's Nevada companion mod this is the English original, it varies from the russian companion mod a bit, however it's now standalone.. can be downloaded from "misc stuff" folder from my ftp server, as always access ceredentials are in my video upscale thread here in the modding section..
 
Hello, anyone knows how to load the map of surface expedition intro into the mapper attached to Nevada? I think I looked at all the files and can't seem to find it (only found later game Vault City maps like main, ruins, train station and lab).
 
Is there a English version with the companion submod?

look for my cinematic video upscale thread and seek access to my FTP server there.. as i said it's in "misc stuff folder" somewhwere..
Due to some strange reason, after I've posted complaints on certain varez forum, regarding Chinese hackers ruining my FTP server, due to hijacking my router, and installing something in ram, and at the same time screwing my FTP server's access, the ftp server breakup suddenly ceased, it is now more or less stabile for a couple of weeks now..

though remember this mot is the original as was created by our user arroyoman. i just separated it from the outdated patch repository it was tied to, the mod itself still has some scripting bugs that the autor did not fix, possible glitches if things aren't done in the way they were ment to be done.. and mod itself differs a bit from the russian version.. Russians took the liberty and edited few things here and there, so the Russian NevadaCompanionMod is not the same as arroyoman's original I provided as a standalone mod
