Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

OK, so I downloaded the mod and translation from Dionis' signature and installed both according to the read me file.
Game works. great.

I'm just wondering about the SFALL2-version: do I need to download and use the latest version as provided in the link in post #108 by Crafty in the other thread (bugs and error report) i had this problem last year in august and quit the game, to wait for the new translations and bug fixes. http://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-nevada-bugs-and-errors-report.214138/page-6#post-4254606 ?

I specifically wonder if the game crashing problem with the corpse of the overseer in the government shelter towards the end of the game will be fixed using only the links provided by Dionis' signature.

EDIT: turned out I still had the old savegames somewhere.
I pasted them in the right folder, and now the problem with the overseers corps is gone :)
 
Okay, so I exited the government base, fought the soul reaper, didn’t kill him, and went back to the train station in salt lake city, when entering the city, a video of an S.O.S. signal on the radio appears, but there are no subtitles and the audio is in Russian!


Can anybody tell me what the content of the SOS signal is please?
 
from what understand I need some special device, i think i must have dropped it somehwere a year ago, seems like i will have to play the mod all over from scratch again :p

I'm not playing on CE, but it seems like something along the lines of a 'Tech Junkie' or something. Kinda like that repair guy in New Reno's railway station. He mentioned that he chose his current working place because he disliked crowded place or something iirc.

I see. That's a nice self-referential touch.
Btw, anyone know how I can recruit the dog in the Reno railroad? There are bandits in the upper left corner that attack unprovoked and the dog says something in Russian (presumably "Grrrr....") if I try to speak to it. Tried giving it several dried meat but it still doesn't join. Maybe I need higher charm? (CH is at 1)

Dionis , will the bug with the mismatched talking heads be fixed in next update?

@Navarrrro fixed the heads just few hours ago.
Some reported files have been edited, Lizard Trapper and such, intro movie and few cut-scenes, and Wind of War is now edited.
I'm currently getting the patch together for the upload. It will be up in few hours. Or tomorrow max.
66% of the game is now fully edited.

THere's a ncstrzxb.int file inside the translation archive. Where to we put this in? Or should it just stay in main nevada dir?

That's actually the fix for the problem where you crash upon entering Area 51's A5 hangar. It was supposed to be placed in /DATA/SCRIPTS. It might have been that Dionis got the greenlight from Foxx to include it with the translation, instead of placing it immediately upon the intended location. Suggestion for Dionis and translation-editing team, it'd be better for you guys to create a new readme specifically for that Area 51 fix.
 
Hey guys I found I'm unable to craft anything in Crazy Edition 3.4.
I have all materials and skill level for Scorpion Armor as well as Cue Stick but I'm not getting the option to craft when using the repair bench in the Reno Railway station.
Is this a possible bug?

Actually I checked, and that .int file is already inside /data/scripts/ so no harm.
