Fallout: New Vegas in the most anticipated race

I always hated Gamespot. It seems to me that there's a bunch of assholes running the site.

As for the poll...fuck, New Vegas got it. I couldn't care for any other of the titles.

Since I could only vote for one, I picked The Last Guardian because I enjoyed Shadow of the Colossus so much.

If I could vote again, here would be the order:

1st: The Last Guardian
2nd: Fallout: New Vegas
3rd: Dead Space 2

I'd also put a vote in there for Metroid and Zelda, but I still don't own a wii, so what's the point?

But to be 100% honest, there's nothing here that I'm totally psyched about. I can easily wait for them all to hit the $20 bargain bin. The only two games I expect to be purchasing at full retail in the near.. far.. whatever future this list is referring to, are Starcraft II (already pre-ordered the CE) and Diablo 3.

Ten years from now

1. Gears of War 10
2. Crisis 7
3. GTA: Planet Mars
4. TEOS XX: Somewhere else
5. Star Wars: Something, Something, Dark Side
6. Civ 17
7. Duke Nukem: Forever

and some others

Naming Duke Forever was a mistake. 2019 is too early of a date for that! :D

here is the real date of the Duke

I feel sorry for those bastards who build a hit game, only to be told by the publisher to get back to work and make a sequel. Of course some sequels are really just extensions of the original game – due to technology improvements – Civilization being one of those games, but how many times can you milk the same tit before it drops off. So is it a curse or a blessing to have a hit game. I think Max Payne is a good example – a hit game with a respectable return, but now I hear there’s another one on the way, why can’t the developers make a new game with a new premise, new settings, etc…they did it once they can do it again. Take the lessons from their earlier experiences and apply them afresh.

He only said that it will be anticipated again in 2019, not that it will actually come out. :)

Always bet on Duke.

[spoiler:1c54f040c6]How this would work in context in a game of Blackjack, I will never know.[/spoiler:1c54f040c6]

By the way, isn't Alpha Protocol coming out soon? Anyone gonna pick it up? I think it's out in 2 days here in the UK.

Fuck you all.

The most anticipated game is a Genre-blending RPG mega game/movie/interactive-novel/artwork/heroin-dispenser Dune, headed by Brian Fargo and a mixture of the GTA and System/Bioshock development teams, with consultation by Hideo Kojima.

But the most anticipated THING in existance and non existence is still Duke Nukem Forever.

Forever.

Forever.
