Please, honestly, no more fucking Enclave, in any kind of incarnation or version.
I like the theme of three clashing factions, and I do hope they will continue that stuff but it doesn't always have to be the focus in a Fallout game.

I myself always enjoy finding the mystery fourth player behind it all who is really pulling all the strings and has a plan.
[spoiler:2fd41b3e08]The Enclave Remnants in NV weren't that bad, just a bunch of grizzled war-vets. I can dig somethin like that.[/spoiler:2fd41b3e08]

Use the spoiler tags for New Vegas tidbits guys - BN

What would be nice would be a "FO: Tactics 2: Rise of the Caesar" [mind the stupid yet awesome title].
It would start in Arizona or wherever Caesar's legion started as you go conquering and expanding through the decades, giving us a better view of the state of affairs in the mid west.

And what I would love to see here is reactivity to your decisions, move westwards or northwards? Did you fail conquering that settlement? Did you misuse too many a slave? Well the game goes on with all the consequences that harbrings.

Of course, if it ends up being to the original tactics what FO3 was to FO... no thanks.

Well, I guess that explains why the PC port gets so little love. I'm going to stop complaining about the poor quality of PC ports and be glad I'm getting them at all.

Fallout in Europe?!

I envision a multiplayer fallout game that is mostly set in the abandoned underground rail tunnels, called Fallout: London. They could reunite Flagship to design it. :D

Man, 90K PC sales!? That's terrible. It's a miracle they even bother to make it on PC. I wonder if it's because of piracy on PC that sales are lower, or whether to Steam sufficiently safeguards against that. As a PC snob, it makes me a sad panda.

Considering I've had to use the console a couple times to find my lost companions (I think that disqualified me from achievements, doh), and how mods come in handy to fix things they don't fix, can't imagine playing this on a console.

On another note, there's another area that can easily be used for a sequel--Michigan. I mean parts of Detroit already looks post-apocalyptic now, doesn't need much converting =)

If it makes you feel any better; I doubt that VGCHARTZ counts digital download and STEAM sales.

The game was (or still is?) number one in sales at Steam for a while. So I doubt that 90k is the full count.

It doesn't. Though why you'd seperate Steam and digital download is beyond me. Steam is a digital download service.

True, but not every digital download service is Steam :D

MoBucks is actually NoBucks, the construction industry being what it is today, but i still paid for my PC copy. (well, not really, a bestbuy credit card did)

I hope not too many people pirate this game. People pirating games make me a sad panda for the PC game industry.

So there might be a tiny bit of hope that Zenimax will ask Obsidian back to make Fallout 4 when the time comes.
It will be Fallout 5, but probably without number.

Because New Vegas is Fallout 4. In Fallout 4 Black Isle planned to give Ceasar Legion great role. Fallout 3 + DLC and New Vegas also have many things from Van Buren.

So, lore is almost drained. What do next? Central America? Florida? Mexico? What New Vegas ending can be used for future games?
Are there only NCR and Legion as big powerful organisations?

I respect your logic and agree but I'm pretty sure GTA set the standard here. It will be Fallout 4, much like GTA 4 was really GTA 7.
What are you talking about? There are plenty of older series with spinoffs and semi-spinoffs not being taken into account by the numbering. The Elder Scrolls being just one of the many.

Oh, and GTA4 was GTA11...

Well, there is another version. Next game really will be Fallout 4 because New Vegas is Fallout 3.
And "Capital Wasteland" was Fallout Spinoff 3 (after two BoS games).
Funny version. :)

I think there will be no more numbers.

I was going to make a similar, smart alec remark about Final Fantasy XIV but then I realised I couldn't count high enough to discover its true number.

Let's just call them all Fallout X, so that people can dub it whatever their little number-loving hearts desire.

No, because then you have to make "Fallout XI", "Fallout XII", and "Fallout X 2". :D

y'all DO realize that Fallout depends on "Americana" for it's themetic and aesthetic presentation, right? fucksake i feel like i'm at the Bethie board where nobody really 'gets' Fallout.

That and the fact that you don't have to explain why everyone is speaking English.
