Fallout New Vegas RPG

Yes, making your character leave while there's nobody to run after them and ask them to stay doesn't often work. You got lucky, but I suggest not writing yourself out before we begin.

It was really a mix of roleplaying and bad timing. When Yasmin was no longer addressing my character (due to new arrivals), he felt he should leave without further argument.

They don't need to leave the caravan just cause the pretty lady isn't talking to them.

Guys, if your character doesn't feel like standing round, there is more to do in the caravan than getting recruited. We will get to that bit and you can wait for her or ask the guys (though it looks like she is coming off as the in-charge one), but you can also always do other things while waiting.

Eh, like I said, my character isn't used to speaking with outsiders. When an opportunity presented itself to leave, he wanted to get out of the situation.

Krepe, any examples of what Tom looks like? I drew something up, but it's so generic. It looks like about 50 characters from Oblivion. A reference would be great. An actor, a drawing, even a decent screencap would be better than nothing.

Hmm, i'll have to look about a bit, it's hard to think who my character looks like. The only person I can say he looks like is a more serious, stressed Bradley Cooper, but with longer hair. Eyes a bit more deeply inset, more facial hair, thicker eyebrows.

More serious/stressed and with longer hair.

Courier: Thanks, that'll help.

Ok, for everybody who Yasmin wasn't adressing, you didn't hear everything she said, because she was being careful with how loud she was talking. Though for the sake of moving the story along, if you would like to have hear key words that peaked your interest like "brotherhood", "fiend" or anything else that'd get you interested, go ahead.

I was thinking I could've uploaded some screen-pics of my character with captions like Gonzales did, but I just realised my new vegas character is black and has grey hair. My friend made my character for me, and I just never bothered to start again to redesign my character. So when/if I upload my characters pictures please excuse those features.

You could always just remake him? I don't mean start over entirely. just make him how he is supposed to look. Though I find that the character creator in Fallout doesn't give you much room for detail. My Yasmin I made on it looks nothing like she's supposed to because her face has so much character and definition in her cheek bones, the mouths can't get to her shape and same with the eyes.

It shouldn't be too hard to find leather armour and a varmint rifle should do for his weapon. Although cos i'm lazy, i'm just gonna put something on my main characters head so you can't see it, and hopefully you guys would have the imagination to think he looks completely different on the face.

Hmm. There seems to be a problem. No idea how we can get you in, Nevest. Right now I think they'd rather beat him up than have him come with them.

Oh no, it's up to you as leader of the pack to take him with us, it will just be very frosty between me and him, or maybe if he comes with us, our relations could be fixed with trial by fire if you get my idea, like in an ambush he may turn out quiet helpful or something like dat.

Yes, but the problem is, the leader HATES the BoS. They took her brother (though he wanted to join, she blames them) and were also the ones who killed her gang. Now Evan's probably dead because of them. So she hates them more. And she wasn't going to hold that against Nevest since he wasn't with the BoS at the time, but he's acting like one and saying he'll try to stop her from killing them, so right now she thinks it'd be easier to tell him to fuck off (which she has) or kill him.

To get him involved maybe (little bit pervy) could follow us to see what we're up to or something like that, and maybe he could come in handy later on when we get ambushed or sommit.

I'm fine with whatever happens. I chose to make my character BoS, I will deal with the consequences. Of course, I don't think I've been doing too well of a job depicting him as imagined, he's supposed to be a sorrowful character whose past alienates him somewhat, not a hot-headed elitist that goes picking fights with everyone.

Yeah, sucks when you turn into a hot-headed elitist. Though Yas did provoke it a bit at the start flipping him off, but she thought he was another creep staring at them. Characters form themselves and often that means they don't follow our plans. But we'll make him fit somehow.
