Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition announced

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
It doesn't come exactly as a surprise, but Bethesda has just announced through their blog that an "Ultimate Edition" for Fallout: New Vegas will get released next year (February 7th in North America and February 10th in Europe) and will of course include every DLC for the title.
We’re pleased to announce the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available in retail stores across North America on February 7th 2012 and throughout Europe on February 10th. The Ultimate Edition comes complete with all of the game add-on content for Fallout: New Vegas – Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

For players who are seasoned explorers of New Vegas or just getting into the game for the first time, the Ultimate Edition expands beyond the Wasteland like never before with the Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, Big MT research crater and the treacherous Divide now open for exploring. Along with new areas to explore, each of the four main add-on packs increases the maximum level cap by five levels, ultimately raising the cap to level 50.

New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Here's the box art:

Hah, I'm kind of amused they avoid the Game of the Year label. But it's good they're releasing this, it'll be a good buy for new players. The DLCs add a ton to the game (the main ones, not those two last ones).

I never got New vegas for my 360 as I don't have xbox live and didn't want to play with all the glitches...

Do you think this edition will have all the patches as well along with the DLC?

of course. The price will probably be pretty fair too.

This is pretty amazing. They've been going on and on with this game for the last year, and here's another half. I bet New Vegas is one big cash cow out there.

I've been waiting for this. Instant buy when it is released.
Finally I will be able to play all DLCs.

Because only Bethesda makes good RPGs nowadays.
Well, I already have it with all the DLCs (except for the small ones), but I think I might actually get this edition and try to get the english version this time because I can't stand the horrible german synchronization anymore.

Microsoft should seriously sue Obsidian for the use of the word 'Ultimate'. Can be confused with their Windows 7 product, you see.

You mean sue Bethesda. And yea

If there was some SWAG included, like there was for advance orders, then I'd bite. Since there isn't there's no incentive for me to pick it up.

Well I already bought the collector's Edition of the normal New Vegas and have 4 out of the 6 DLCs (Lonesome Road and Courier's Stash being the remaining ones, although I only plan to buy LR eventualy) so this is pretty redundant for me, unless they make a super dupper version with more stuff along with all the DLCS, or If I have to buy a present for someone in 3 years.

I agree there is a case here for legal action against Bethesda and Zenimax. Electronic Arts own the "Ultima" franchise, and the term 'Ultimate' is just too close for comfort (for those dyslexics out there) ...just like 'Scrolls' and 'Assholes', think about it.

According to Gamepro it will be $49.99 on Xbox 360 & PS3, and $39.99 for the PC. The PC version is cheaper than all the DLC's. I'm sold!
