Hey guys since we released semifinished English version for this mod it would be nice to hear your impressions, do you like it so far?
I know some translation may be rough but the editing will start as soon as we get 100% on translation.
Anyway will be nice to hear your thoughts guys, it was all done for you, the true fans of classic Fallout.

Guys there is a new update on our translation version. Please feel free to check it out.
Also there has been an error made, I accidentally posted the link to a wrong mod version.
If you have version 1.02(15) then it's the wrong one and many files we done won't work on it.
The right one is simply 1.02 HD, it's in my signature along with our translation.
Hope you enjoy the game so far.

Just wanting to say that lack of replies is propably due to people waiting for full translation release before starting to play. That is like that in my case at least.

The translation in the edited cities is very good. Snikers and pals did a very good job.Even with the raw translation you can understand everything that's going on( It's obv not that enjoyable though but still).

I got serious goosebumps playing the first few towns.Felt like it's 1998 again.Actually scrap that, felt like it's 1999 and I was playing the new fallout 3.Heard from people that have played the full russian version that it gets better and better later on.I am hungry for more. Ah so f****g awesome.

Thanks to the devs of nevada and the good people here working so hard on the translation.I really really want to buy you guys a beer or two.

No there are no companions, in order to complete the main quest you must search Reno, complete few quests there and you will eventually stumble on a Hawthorne military base task, when you'll infiltrate the base you will find... something. I won't spoil the story. You also have to find Bridgeport, it's a small settlement near Reno, Battle Mountain is not where all the bikers are currently stationed.

And fucking Van Buren. And all those other russian total conversion waiting to be translated.

I guess Fallout is one of the few games to have its best mods being released around 20 years later. (and, of course, come the mandatory request to have those games being equally treated here than Beth stuff, with their own section and all)

And Olympus 2207... Yes, it's was released almost in 2015, very late 2014. 2015 had alot to offer to Fallout fan, but little of it is in english.

(Olympus 2 is in development as a stand-alone game BTW)
About fucking Van Buren, is it still going? Didn't hex say that VB is on hold?

It is on hold because the project lead has like four jobs at the same time currently, but he intends to resume it and throw some money in it when possible. (and a lot of the work is already done)

Fuck, why are these Fallout fan games/Fallout inspired games always in Russian? Pretty sure 80% of the Fallout fan community doesn't speak in Slavic tongue. Dionis wouldn't have to have done a translation of Nevada if the devs did a proper English translation or released it in English in the first damn place. (no offense Dionis, I love your efforts )

From what I've played so far, I can safely say it's brilliant. Really looking forward to the full translation.

Holy fuck, that has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life.

I'm guessing because people are more comfortable making games in there mother tongue, and while most of the fanbase isn't Slavic, a large chunk of modders are.

It's an old news but developer(s) were already burnt out, the last 1.0 content patch did a very long way (~3 yrs), and didn't want to place even bigger burden on top of their shoulders, especially not text editors.

I tried Olympus one time, didn't had too much experience with it but I remember I was little disappointed that there is no female character : (
Anyway I have to give it another go. It seems very interesting.

Figured. The 1.5 Resurrection team was Czech, but at least they had the decency to make an English translation.

And it only took them 3 extra years to make the english translation after releasing the original version (which took them 10 years to make in their language). >_>

Also remember that not everyone speaks english, plenty of Russian modders speak little to no english.

It is up to the fans to do their share of work if they want to enjoy a free product made by people that weren't paid for their work instead of demanding the modders to learn a new language or find someone to translate their mods for others to play. Like, you could learn Russian instead of complaining about no english translations for many mods, and then you could translate them if you wanted for the larger audience. :lmao:
