I guess you are having problems moving your screen in certain areas. For this, try to dowload this and this files (write the numbers on the picture and click the green button if you don't speak russian), unpack them and move them into Map_Edges\RestorationProject12 folder. Backup the original files though and in case of not working, you might have to use original resolution in these areas.
Sorry Tom9k, but I can't see and select the link in your post... I'm getting in research
However I noticed that it refers to directory \Map_Edges\RestorationProject212; this is a version of High Resolution Patch prior to 3.01? I just installed the last version and the file f2_res.ini tip for any patches related to edge files (.edg not .ini) to the directory \data\maps. The edge files of the link are compatible?

Oups! Sorry, forgot to add links About files being compatible - not sure, not sure... I don't use higher resolution since I am oldschooler but I have found pack with both fixes and Resolution Patch 2.2 and some file for stable version of the game:
Code:http://narod.ru/disk/11106935001/Fallout2.rar.html
Just remember to make backup first, I have not tested them since I am kinda busy these days + I have to use very old PC now and I am glad I'm able to get on this forum

It will take more time, effort and balls than to start new game, though.
