I have a problem...if I dont change the res ini to ignore map edges I only see a small part of the map...if I do then I can scroll all the map but I can't tell where the exit areas are....can anyone help...thanks...

High-Res patch is not installed in the game officially, so that the problems with it are not considered here.

Support resolutions attached a fans, so that 100% guarantee that it works, not.

I present game-mod translation from Russian to google-English. Pixote's production plus my (I did the fix No. 5)

for download from here:

http://newfmc.pl//cubik/download_FON_Translation_CE.php

It may contain errors - "error" instead of text caused by technical errors when processing file dialogs.

- download game 0.99
- download patch 0.99a
- download the fixes from 1 to 5 (need to look for)
and install it later in the same order as you downloaded, overwriting the files (and before you install every package look at its content to do it correctly)

Now, on the installed game throw translation package, be carefull to do it correct (overwrite files, too)

Enjoy!

I feel ashamed to admit that I can't find those files.

EDIT: Nevermind I found everything with google translator.
For what version of fallout is that anyway?
Fallout 2?

Ok, attempted to install everything:
-One file was corrupted in the main install.
-Then "master.dat" couldn't be updated, explorer asked me to find another folder in order to install it.

I'm using windows 7 64 bits, couldn't install the game.
Btw, is there a shortcut for the game?
Couldn't even find a way to launch the mod.

Depends if you are able to play the mod in russian. There is no deadline for 1.0 version. When it's out then it's out. But as far as I am aware it should add lots of things. If you have not played it yet then you might want to give it a shot, get familiar with customized interface and gameplay overall to be ready for possible 1.0 version.

I downloaded Master92's iso, everything's in russian.

I'm from canada, I have no idea about how to install this.

Do you think you can use the english translation patch and create a new iso for english-speaking users? (that'd be awesome)

So FON 1.0 hasn't been officially released yet, will these guys release a proper English version? Have we all been playing the beta version?

Community of players on the official website were asked to do this version (0.99). This pre-release version, not beta.

Version 1.0 will be, but of the dates is early to speak.

I have no idea about how to install this.

Press "Установить", select folder and install it.

Top it will be necessary install the English translate, if you do not want go insane from the Cyrillic alphabet :wink:

Ok

I installed Master92's iso. When launching "fallout of nevada.exe", a black screen appears, then get back o windows.

During install, all files were written in red, does it mean they failed to install?
Cyrillic is not installed on my computer, is that why install failed?

Try to use compatibility mode for launch...

Better to run with administrator privileges.

As for the red file - either they broken when downloading, or I do not know ...

I do not use Windows 7 in my work, so difficult to say exactly...

After installation, be sure to check master.dat/proto/... and
data/proto/... and put all the folders with the content the attribute "read only"

Hi Master92,

Thanks a lot, now I can launch the game.

Anyway, I have another problem now: after creating a character, I start in a vault and I can't scroll into the screen. Every sides are blocked except bottom.
I tried to install hi-res patch for fallout 2, but it doesn't the problem, and the little interface you added in the UI is right in the center of the screen.

Do you have an idea? This never happened to me before, it's weird.

High Resolution Patch is not officially supported, so use it at your own risk.

Also need to know whether or third-party patches or sfall.
Their presence is undesirable.

Screen resolution? This problem occurs every time?
