Hey, white, if I haven't been hired for the job, how am I meant to get involved, any hints or anything? I suppose me being in the small town, or worrying that David may be in trouble (although he isn't) may give me reason to join up with the merc.
 
You can eavesdrop, and Edward will notice they are a couple of men short. That should give you and anybody else who still hasn't posted in the main topic (only 1 person right now) to join the group.
 
Okay, i'll make sure Tom keeps his ears open for key-words that may interest him. Although for most of the introductions, Tom will be acting as if this is a normal day, i.e. when Reno posts, probably taking him to the shop, getting a few supplies etc.
 
Yeah, I've been using your posts Krepe to kind of work my posts a bit. Jacob payed a visit to Sammy's already for instance.
 
To make it clear, unless I tell you in the RP, do NOT assume your character knows about it. Unless its generic stuff like the location of shady sands or something, the chances are you won't know it. You are a group of mercs, all you need to know about the job. will be told you by Edward.
 
Is this open? My laptop broke some months back, and only due to Christmas have I gotten a replacement. Looking to Blood Ties, it seems dead.
 
Yes it is open. You can join the group at their first destination, after the funeral there.

Feel free to use your character from Blood Ties. This carries on from it, and I have put a two year gap between the RPs, to distance them as much as possible and to let you add some more backstory to your character.
 
Huh. I was wondering what happened to you. Is your character even still with us? I can't remember.
 
After skimming through Blood Ties, I found no evidence of Yas offing my character due to inactivity. So, I'm just going to consider him alive and well.

Oh, and what happened to the BoS post-Blood Ties? It's pretty much essential to shape my character (BoS-NCR truce, New Vegas independence, eradication?).

Bio: Following the events of Blood Ties, Nevest returned to the Brotherhood of Steel in Hidden Valley. While ecstatic to see his brothers, some part of him, deep down, longed to return to the surface he had become adjusted to. For a time, he suppressed these feelings; he was content to live with his brothers in the bunker they called home. Some time soon, when the Brotherhood called for a truce with the New California Republic, Nevest made vocal his dismay for what he believed to be treachery on behalf of Elder McNamara. Albeit quietly, Hardin was right to challenge McNamara's position, and so Nevest outright protested the Elder's decisions.

The time came for the Brotherhood to participate in the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. McNamara nominated Nevest in particular to be given the duty of joining NCR forces at the battle, undoubtedly in spite of his Nevest's campaign against what he believed to be his "disillusioned" elder. Nevest, instead of outright defying McNamara, agreed. Once preparations were complete and the brothers that were chosen to partake in the battle headed for Hoover Dam, Nevest ran off some time along the way. It was later found out that Nevest had spent his last days in the bunker disassembling his T-51b armor, in order to craft yet another non-BoS affiliated metal suit... this one, at least, would provide more protection than the battered and deteriorated armor he could scavenge from the incident at Helios.

Nevest headed East, into Caesar's lands. Even though the NCR would prevail with the might of the Brotherhood at their back, they couldn't spread their disease further East until their military power was nurtured back to full strength. Nevest had begun to spiral downwards into severe depression. To battle the mental illness, he used med-x to "calm down". This, as days turned to weeks and months, applied to psycho to feel "up". It wasn't a great deal of time before he was scavenging hospital and military bases for his fix, instead of food or other valuable supplies. Nevest, over a period of two years, was no longer the virtuous knight dedicated to protecting the world from itself.
 
Bio done. Consider his armor to be like the lightweight metal armor from New Vegas, just not as light.
 
Did a bit of editing on Jacob. Gave him Cynophobia in a way that he can function with Sarge around, but would prove crippling should any others show up.

ok if im permitted to join i kno me and white havent gotten on the rightest foot..but u kno shit happens nothing personal and all that..i am a avid Rp fan and Roleplayer..so here goes

Bio:Uriel Bane was born in The Den to one of Metzgers Slave girls. when he was sold to a travelling merchant he was brought up to be a caravan guard and has served most of his teenage years in that profession. He was unusualy bright for his years and naturaly that was exploited by his "father" it certainly aided in his survival as a caravan guard, altho you wouldnt expect it of him his linguistic skills are rather well developed compared to most other brutish or otherwise dull dialects.The merchant was killed during a raid wich left him free to do as he pleased so he threw away his old life and left returning to his place of birth but finding nothing for himself there he retreated to a cave in the mountain range south of The Den and made a home there for himself where he lives his life as a Trapper, Tanner and craftsman of simple weaponry. (will refit it to the story as it goes on)
