Fallout repeats last year's E3 showing

I sense a distinct aura of "BIG HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER!" in the poster, but I suppose that is inevitable nowadays. Aside from the grandiose, fate-of-the-universe-hangs-in-the-balance feel I really like it; the sepia colour tone, and the rough sketchy way it's drawn seem to be holding true to the Fallout style. I'd love to have a copy to hang on my wall.

It makes me wonder if, perhaps, Bethesda has got it right, and they know they've got it right, and what they're doing is building the suspense so that we'll all have to eat crow and love them when the game does come out....

It reinforces my cautious optimism - but it's still very cautious.
 
ok, ok. the poster is nice, falloutish etc., but what's the big deal? They've probably made it a year ago, along with ten other posters that will be shown in the future E3 shows... maybe they are just pissed at the whole community of Fallout fan(atic)s (don't know why? Read any topic connected to F3 ;]) and want to stir up our curiosity just only to say after a decade: No F3 for you! *uck of and DIE! :P
(well, that's not the most optimistic theory for sure ;D)

And a stupid one, to say the least, because no one spends >$1 mil just to flip a finger at a gaming community.

Rather than that, they'll say "If you don't like F3, then it's hard cheese!".

But the poster ain't bad.
 
bethesda owns E3(33) and fallout will be the way they want it. believe it or not. My guess is that it will be a lot different but cool anyway. not the hit the previous releases had but cool anyway.

1 year of waiting for a little poster, what a poor new!!

it's an habit at bethesda not to unveil news when the production of the game is'nt very advanced...
 
I really like the way the poster makes me feel. I only wish that we had a tad bit of information on the game. They definitely wanted to get us thinking with the posters, so I think they have a good idea on what there doing.

Pretty piss poor technique. The receiver is also throwing a stiff-arm before he's even got the ball. Offensive Pass Interference. Five yard penalty and loss of downs. :)

Let's hope they are bigger Fallout fans (as some have professed) than football fans.
