ATI X1800 series
ATI X1600 series
ATI X1300 series
ATI X850 series</blockquote>They also finally confirm the game has gone gold after Ubisoft already ruined the surprise. And, last but not least, the point out:<blockquote>Also, be on the lookout for the first , exclusive Fallout 3 review in the current issue of OXM, hitting subscribers now</blockquote>"But wait", I can hear you thinking, "I've already seen reviews of Fallout 3." Sure, but those weren't officially sanctioned. This one is, and it's exclusive! Anyone want to open a betting pool if it has a rating lower than 100%?

I'd really like to see a comparison between the 360, PS3, and PC. I'm hoping the PC will deliver a better visual experience.

Cool, I won't be able to play the game.

Sure, I can play other Gamebryo games but not Fallout 3 it seems.

X850 is 4 years old card, surely you can afford at least radeon 3850 (which costs about 80 bucks) ?

Surprise! It won't run on my laptop.

Well... Oblivion did run on the lowest settings, but that's no way to play a game.
Lucky me get to borrow my girl's stationary now that she bought a new laptop.
Haven't been able to run a decent game decently in ages.
I really don't want to play the unmoddable PS3 version.

Edited in the rest of the news Bethesda put up.

The "first, exclusive review" for OXM is hilarity +1, not just because they failed to keep their exclusivity but also because exclusive reviews are such a widely-denounced, bad practice.

I'll be seriously shocked if they rate it anything below 100%, and not surprised if they rate it 150% or something ridiculous like that.

EDIT: also lol at Bethesda trying to distract everyone with non-news.

I'm not much of a PC Gamer though I do have some PC games. Fallout 1 & 2 and others that are not graphics intensive.

Here's my specs:

Windows Vista

3GB of RAM

AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual Core Mobile ZM-80 at 2.10 GHza

ATI HD 3200 series graphics card

So I don't met the minimum 2.4 Ghz requirements and my card wasn't listed. Will it be able to run this game? Maybe not at full settings, but would it be playable?

I'm renting the game first on X360, but I would definitely like to get the PC version if there will be a SDK for the community. I know Beth said they would, but not at release and maybe not for awhile so I can wait.

I read this is the same as Oblivion's is that good thing since a wider target audience.

Maybe not, because there aren't pushy the engine compared to Oblivion.

Hell, it's about time.

My system:
Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ
GeForce 6200 TB 256 RAM
2 gigabytes of RAM

Minimum System Requirements:

Windows XP/Vista
1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)
Recommended System Requirements:

My videocard holds my computer back, so to say. I wonder if I could possibly play this game if I overcloacked my processor, set everything on super-low and prayed to god. Would my processor and RAM being pretty high help me to run it?

If they are promoting it and its being released before the game comes out expect a gigantic Mario sized Fire spitting P L A N T.

i wouldn't be too worried about the pc specs. i couldn't run oblivion when it came out and i had to run a mod called oldblivion. i didn't get all the semen mapping and the game ran pretty great on my system, unless you were in a huge open field and it wanted to draw ugly grass all over. my guess is that there will be a similar patch/mod that comes out shortly after release of the game.

edit: i see it's already been mentioned and i looked right over it. :(

If we really are going to have a betting pool, I'll bet they make a extra special system just for FO3 and give it a 110%.

I can run this just fine.

AMD Phenom X4 Quad Core Processor 2.5ghz

6GB System RAM

GeForce 9800GT

The real question is do I want to run it or not.

Also I put down 200 dollareedoos on it getting 100% 10/10, A+++ wtc.

Anyone else shook their head when they saw the different XP/Vista req? Let's all hope the open source community catches up on 3D graphics so we can use linux as a real alternative for gaming..

Well only got a 1.9 ghz dual core processor but it can run Oblivion like a dream and most of the latest stuff... as long as I turn the resolution down and have a handy book to read while the loading takes a few weeks.
