Fallout tattoo

I'd considered a yellow 13 or a V13 door myself, but tattoos involving the number 13-- especially when coupled with the color blue (like, say, that of a patch of vault suit)-- can lead to potentially violent complications where I live, soooo...
Why is that? (super curious) :twitch:
Yes, I must admit, now I wanna know, too! o.o

I mean, it's like saying when I worked at Target if I lived 20 miles northwest it would be life threatening to walk home at night, because the red shirts could be confused for gang colors, specifically The Bloods. Which is true. One of my coworkers had to quit because he DID live in a gang neighborhood that would shoot him if they felt he was a Blood. But thankfully, where I lived it wasn't an issue, so even when I had to ride my bike to work and back, I was perfectly safe.

As per the topic itself, I think this is pretty appropriate. =)

Yeah, Mad Bomber got it in one. I know it seems a mite paranoid, but I've been kicking around Texas and the American southwest for the past half-decade or so and I was in one of the worse parts of San Francisco before that, so I've lived in a few places where, as a night-owl and a loner, you'd definitely rather be safe than sorry.

As to the topic at hand, I've always been kind of partial to the idea of a Children of the Cathedral badge tattoo, but it would have to be done very well to not just look like a generic radiation symbol. The rusted, pitted, die-cut look of it would make it recognizable to at least a fair subset of original-series fans, and it would at least stand a chance of looking kind of cool to everyone who didn't get it. (Contrast with the Followers' emblem-- they're one of my favorite factions in the series (and far and away take the top spot as of the late 2200s), but even dyed-in-the-wool Fallout fanatics would probably fail to make the association with the game and just assume the tattoo meant you were cuckoo for Christ-o puffs.)

Yeah, that is not a group you want to mess around with.

The Children emblem would make a sweet tat. If you ever find yourself in San Francisco and are feeling adventurous, I can recommend a few artists.

And I agree, it's a shame the Followers don't have a more distinctive symbol. You'd be better off getting a mohawk and wearing a lab coat.
