Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

Love your hopeposting, keep it up.
Hopeposting??? Nah, I just wanted to simply share those pics just because.

I have ZERO faith in this show! Especially with some of the things that have been said by Jonthan Nolan, it's definitely not for Fallout Fans like us.

The first episide was pretty good.
Noticed the leveling up sound effect from 1&2 which was a nice touch.

The fact they referenced kid in the fridge makes ne think they got huge balls.

Yep first episode was good for a show based on Bethesda games. My only complaint which is purely a personal one. I fucking can’t stand trannie actors.

Okay thr first episode was actually solid. It was funny albeit the incest jokes were lowbrow but the hilarity of the awkward situations people in V33 threw Lucy in was something. I just watched episode 2- I feel there is a plot picking up here but the pacing is weird.

Looks like they saved up all retcons for the final episodes.
Vault Tek launched nukes because they were fearing of losing all their profits and dotations due to potential peace treaty with China.

They decide to do it during a corporate meeting with various companies (apparently that's the cameo appearance for House and Sinclair) and divide the Vaults between themselves to see who will rule post-war America.

NCR was completely destroyed after Shady Sands was nuked in 2277, completely retconning New Vegas (First Hoover Dam Battle should take place in that year). Only bands of marauders still carry it's name including the bandits that attacked the Vault.
The crater with Shady Sands library sign in trailer was the Shady Sands. It was not founded by Aradesh, but the leader of the NCR bandits.

The show ends with a shot of Vegas, but it's completely dead, including Strip casinos (so I guess this version of House did not prepare).

Glad I read that here instead of wasting time watching it. I remember hearing somewhere that Bethesda retcons were usually done out of incompetence not malice... hard to agree with that sentiment at this point. Whether you agree or not, NV is widely the most loved of the series, for them to shit on it that hard is pretty telling.

I feel like they'll be reusing parts of NV in next season.

Vegas is dead in the last shot of the show, but Lucky 38 can be seen (also without lights).

I think they'll have House wake up at the beginning, but don't know how would they progress it further.

Another spoiler, but at the end BoS has secured infinitely renewable energy source made by Enclave (Enclave is apparently dead thankfully), so BoS replacing NCR in the war for Hoover's Dam is out of question

Yeah, it's really weird how they'd done it. If they wanted Brotherhood, but no NCR they had so much spare timeline they could have used.

so is this not set in continuity and its just like a seperate continuity entirely then? tho the anti war message of "people will always find a reason to hurt and kill each other thatll never change" being turned into capitalism bad is horrible

You know, I'm not surprised they did the lore like this. What I am surprised about though, is the fact that they ACTUALLY went through with doing it!

NGL, I feel bad for certain New Vegas Fans on Social Media that I follow, they're excited about seeing this show! I'm really cringing & bracing myself to see how they're going to react to this revelation.

 :look: :-?

Well they've finally did it then. In fallout 3 and 4 handwavium can do a lot of heavy lifting for people who just don't really care about story or smaller continuity points but its reached a point where there's no real way to reconcile Bethesdas and original west coast fallout continuity. And all it took was them setting something there ONE time to pull it off. Crazy

So it's like a weird alternate universe that pulled pieces of the script from the fallout movies crom Interplay pictures and wanders as post nuclear zombie that takes it's identity from everything else but its source material?

Ullysses wanted to nuke bear and bull, they've nuked entire West Coast.

LOL, lmao even.

No! It means that Shady Sands was "falling" since 2277 and the other thing happened some time after NV (look at the arrow! It clearly means it did not happen in 2277!).

I stand corrected they are dumb enough to defend it
