How could i ignore the pancor jackhammer, although only used by cassidy and vic in my party, i'd usually use one for killing aliens in that mine if i had nothing else better. A very handy weapon in both burst and single shot. The reciol is amazing - i'm sure i can feel the recoil through the mouse - like the brengun. Awesome.
The Bozar, a little out of place and perhaps could have done with a single shot mode and of course i'd be the only one trustworthy enough to use it without slaying my party. Bad for aliens.

Don't laugh at me: I like the 10mm.
Don't know why. It isn't the greatest super-damage-ultimate-nothingisbetter-gun in this game at all, but still...

Actually i remember once wiping out those slavers early in the game with a 10mm... and rats.

On another note, i probably would have liked the H&K G11 more if there had been plenty of ammo for it and it generally stayed in the trunk of the highwayman for lack of ammo.

I like the .223 Pistol, it has decent range and decent damage and using the .223 ammo from the FO2 1.05.1 patch it takes down wanamingos almost as easilly as it does pigrats. Looks better than that POS 10mm too :P

I used the .44 magnum speed load from the day I got it until the day I shot the President with it. I just thought it was so bad ass to have this little tiny pistol taking out hordes of power armored foes. Plus, the whole John Wayne gunfighter aspect was pretty bad ass too.

Yeah, the Smith & Wesson M29 rolver (the short barrel version) in F2 rocks! 6 perfect .44 caliber Full Metal Jacket rounds tearing through your enemies eyes.
You shoot. Shoot 6 times, killing 6 bandits. You empty the chamber of neddless casings. Then you slide in a speed revolver with 6 more messengers of death. You are ready to kill.

[But still, the Colt M1911A1 in .45 ACP caliber is much cooler!]

You have to love the magnum. Often i'd leave Arroyo and head straight for New Reno to pick up a couple of magnums and get them modified, they were good for giving to your mates early in the game with better AP cost.
It's been a while but i seem to remember using one in my 'other hand' also so i didn't have to reload so often during combat. It was a good starting weapon for myron particularly.

I just LOVE that Red Rider BB gun. 100 shots before reloading is a nice feat. And the Magnum revolver is one of the best handguns. And easy to get. You just have to kill that child molester in The Den.

Fallout 1: Alien Blaster and Turbo Plasma Rifle! Combined with
"Fast Shot" trait and "Bonus Rate of Fire" Perk and you own on
your own. 6 shots each round.

Fallout 2: Bozar and Vindicator 4.7mm Gatling Gun!
Again combined with "FS" trait and "BRoF" Perk and
you are invincible. The Bozar actually looks like a M82 Barrett
.50 Cal Sniper Rifle. I wonder if they wanted to bring that in first place.

In case of style, if the shot gun and sawed off shotgun had a mode
to fire both barrels simultaneously this would be my favourite in
case of style. And the .44 Revolver and .223 pistol of course.
Oh and the Chicago Typewriter (Thompson 1926 Civilian Model),
too. But for unknown reason the Thompson is weaker than the
M3A1 Greasegun in this game. Sad! same to the G11! Far too
weak and the caseless ammo too heavy. The Alien Blaster also got
style. Mars Attacks!

I don't remember name of the weapon but you get it in Fallout1 when you kill Gizmo. In Fallout2 you can found it in New Reno weapon store's back room. The weapon is a pistol.

Mauser C96, but actually the first models of the C96
were 7,63 mm. I would have cheered, if they had brought in the
modell 712 with 9mm para, 20 round clip and burst fire.

Oh and the Buttstock would have been nice.

If it makes more than 300hp damage in one turn on karrigan in the final of FO2 I'll gibe you that is the most damaging weapon (I actually haven't tried it on karrigan w/ the bozar). I remember doing about 150 hp of damage to him w/one shot in the eyes (using gauss rifle). And if it beats it(300hp damage in a turn), I guess I'll change my gun on the final next time I play it and perform further tests to the bozar.

More than 300 damage (crits) per burst with the vindicator Minigun
and I can pull off 3 bursts each round.
(437 damage is my current best). I managed to kill him in only one
turn. Thanks to Fast Shot, Bonus RTF, 2x Action Boy, Better Criticals
and Sniper (procs with big guns, too)
Btw, His name is Frank Horrigan. Maybe taken from
Danny Glover role as Lieutenant Frank Harrigan in Predator 2!

The Assault Rifle with Extended Mag is also nice. You can just burst away without having to reload every three bursts.

Well you have 4 bursts in the vindicator, 5 in the Thompson, M60
and G11. And when emptying those your enemy should be dead by then. Not to mention 30 heavy shots in the Alien Blaster.
The assault rifle is quite nice (Kalashnikov?), but too weak later in the game, as the JHP won´t do much damage anymore and
the AP are crap all the way.

although the G11 isnt that great of a gun, I thought it was cool that they included it even though its not that well known
Actually the G11 in this game is nowhere near to the capabilities
of the real G11. Sad!

on a sidenote, if you like the G11/G11E, here is some info on it (people that are not into guns or dont like the G11, just skip this post): it really shouldnt be a SMG, it's an very advanced assaultrifle developed for germany (as a replacement for the G3). they spend a shitload of cash on it and then when it was finally finished they said 'to expensive, make me something else'. Only 1000 G11 rifles were ordered and paid for. Another reason for the cancelation was that NATO was trying to put general standards on guns and ammo (all the same type of magazine and such, so that ammo could easily be swapped in between models) Heckler & Koch panicked and developed the G36 assualt rifle instead (which is in fact an heavily modded design of the M16/M4 series, but it had normal ammo, a 1.5x integrated scope (instead of 1x on the G11) and was cheaper to manufacture so germany was happy...).
want even more info? ok here we go: the G11 is the prototype, .

That info is wrong! It wasn't too expensive. It is simply
because the cold war was over in the 90ies and the German
government saw no more reason in equiping the Bundeswehr with
this weapon. I have a book about the G11 research and
development. "Die G11 Story", written by Wolfgang Seel.
This is, where you get the real input. BTW. there actually was a
HK LMG11 planned. With a 300 round box magazine, inserted into the buttstock.

Oooh, new record! 672 hp at point blank with burst against a poor guy in the Vault City courtyard.

(granted, he had no armor. But "Traveller was hit for 672 hit points and was killed" still looks neat in the info window. )

Great thing (sarcasm)...

You want a REAL critical ?

Mother (or big, or whathever, its the biggets Deathclaws in ther Ramdom encounter) Deathclaw has hit for 1245 hit points and was Kiiled IS a real critical with the Bozar... And no Sniper perk guy !!

The Desert Eagle. It never gets old.

As for Fallout 2: The Sniper Rifle - but only when I've stumbled upon the mirrored shades. It's worthless without 'em. 8)

I just started a new Fallout 2 game and used an editor to hack my character a bit. In the editor it showed all the possible inventory items including the Enfield assault rifle (X something...) from fallout tactics, so i gave myself this weapon to see if it was useable and it works fine. It doesn't do amazing damage but it's versatile with single, aimed and burst firemodes.
My question is this : Can this gun actually be found in fallout 2 and is it a real life weapon?
