Fbos team taunts us

No no no... You guys don't get it, this is the ultimate revenge by Chucky and friends. (Well, alright Chuck isn't there anymore but the name sticks you know?)

When hordes of console kiddies buy and play these games, some of them might find that little line in the credits, resulting in them joining the fan sites...

If this game turns out succefull we're talking hundreds of Fo:BoS playing morons around the board!

...i don´t think so. Why should Chuckey send his fans to the slaughter? It´s just their twisted idea of "teh funey r3venge". You know, they are just SO witty and take all this shitload between FOBOS and DaC/NMA SO detached and with very mature kind of humour...

Interesting... First they crank out Brotherhood of Shit, then comes the sequel: IPLY strikes back, the invasion of the rug-rats...
And I have to agree with the fact that the game will probably end up in the bargain bin, but why bother, isn't there a recycling bin close at hand? :P
As a romanian magazine stated in one of their articles Interplay is one of the firms who had the world in the palm of their hand but din not know what to do with it... Truly sad!
I used to think that the worst thing that could happen to the Fallout series was to die quietly, but now I see a even darker perspective: the same guys that are responsible for FO BOS being put in charge of developing FO 3. Now that is a nightmare on Elm Street!

well the way i see it.

First: The odds of most people even bothering to finish the game and see the end credits is pretty low.

Second: The annoying ten year olds, probably wouldnt watch the credits :). So no problems seen here.

Copyright infringement.

I mean...someone must've copyrighted the logo, and stuff...right?

Odin?

Rosh?

...Miro?

Dunno if that's the "official" NMA logo there...

The only thing they can hope for about that NMA sign is to claim that it's supposed to mean "NO MUTANTS ALLOWED!" in the warehouse and not a cheap rip-off of our beautiful name.

The mention of us in the credits with a full url on the other hand...

There must be some kind of liability cap that would keep it from getting out of hand, but it would be scary ironic if a lawsuit from NMA put IPLY out of business.

It is not copyright infringement. It can, however, be seen as defamatory, and can also be taken to be association without consent (as NMA and DAC obviously want nothing to do with FO:PoS).

School Yard

School Yard

We might be out of school. but we are never out of the school yard.

Or, off the streets.

Remember it's two fo' flinchin', if this missive touches an inappropriate body part. Or worries your boxing knuckle scabs or some other sensitive tissue.

Personal inventory ...

I find my balls still in my scrotum and there is no taste of blood in my mouth. My nose still spites my face, in it's usual place. I fail to find a sense of alarm or dis-ease.

AND I am just thrilled that Interplay would spend millions of dollars so that Chuck's macho coven of artists could waggle their joysticks in a unit digital tribute to DAC and NMA.

Still, a more lasting reward, one that would have kept on giving, might have been more attention paid to their presumed target, audience.

Wish they would have allowed sharing of resources between co-op players, at least like there was in BG:DA. But then they were too busy laughing at DAC and NMA to be aware how that oversight would negatively impress the fans of BG:DA. I am guessing they have enough "go to hell" attitude for DAC and NMA AND the projected buyers-players too. Enough p'ss and vinegar for all around.

I'm not sure that the words on the sign could be considered the property of this site...in a world rife with mutants, I would imagine this would be a common sight. Then again, I can only go off of the sign, if anyone has any other info on this, like perhaps POS not using the words mutant to describe anything in the game and then having this sign there might lead to suspicion.

Either way, I'm for whatever takes them bastards down quickly...

Ehh...like 4too said, it's not really worth getting bothered by.

It's quite funny, in a way.

The people at the Interplay forums are so stupid. I'm amazed people still go there.
