Thats not really true. They still took questions and answered them on the official games site. If you were around at the time, you would understand why the FOBOS boards had to be shut down.

So now you admit that Interplay was responsible for shutting down the FO:BOS forum? Besides, the reason why they "had to be shut down" was because the people behind FO:BOS didn't listen to the fans in the first place.

I dont see the point in giving NMA and DAC free advertising myself. But as it has nothing at all to do with the game I dont care about it either.

For crying out loud, I already explained to you in detail why your "free advertising" claim is nothing but bull on the first page. It's bloody annoying when somebody tries to "argue" something that was already proven wrong in the beginning of the "debate". For somebody who "doesn't care about it", you're putting an awful lot of thought and time into this issue. Must feel pretty good to blindy promote Interplay like that, eh?

Really ? They are giving you free advertising and since you rely on advertising revenue they are doing you a favour. Even though I doubt that was the intent.

Actually, we haven't even noticed any FO:BOS loving fanboys go to either DaC or NMA yet. The game doesn't take any more than ten hours to beat, so you'd think that we'd have a massive influx of Fallout fans who would be telling us that they loved playing the game, right? That would be the case if your perspective on the situation was correct...

Wanna hear a good story? NMA's "most users online at once" record literally doubled overnight when FO3, or VB for those who still insist on calling it that, was cancelled by Interlay. What more, it even quadrupled before a week had gone by.

Look at what's had more influence in the Fallout fan communities; the broken promise of Fallout 3, or UEBERSECKRAT MNA/DAK REFARANSES IN FOEBOES?

Surely you can see where the public eye is focused in terms of wanting another Fallout game?

As it's at the end credits and not on the box or other pre purchase area. Your claim that they are using you for free advertising cant be true now can it.If your suggesting people will buy the game just because of two URL's that appear after the credits you need a serious reality check.

Both NMA and DaC are currently seeking posters to post their thoughts about the game. Unfortunately the only people who have done that so far are the few and the brave who actually rented the game or played it with a friend who played it. And that's only been about three people over at DaC who were members over there anyways.

If there's a reason why this game should make Fallout fans proud, then I'm sure it would've been posted or announced by now. Guess what? It hasn't happened, and chances are that it won't ever.

I'm quite interested to hear why you still insist on claiming this subtle snide remark to NMA and DaC is an advertisement instead. Are you claiming that the FO:BOS team meant to be more helpful than defaming with it?

Shadowgypsy is ripe for the picking. The Interplay thread about the NMA/DaC reference in the credits is already up to 75 replies and still going strong. Kharn, Pope_Viper, jr. and DarkFox have already gone over there to the same thread for a couple of rounds with the ignorant beast. Others are more than welcome to join in on the fun!
