Fo2 vs BG 2

Hummmm, I just noticed if we win we have to go up against Diablo 2, son of a..... Stupid mouse masher, clickfest, that will be a hard one.
 
BG2 is getting many votes cause obviously more people heard about it or played it. It's a good game buy I'm sure that most people that played both would vote for FO2. I'd like to see a FO2 - Torment poll, but it would probably be a very big diffrenece cause even fewer people heard of Torment, even if it's better than BG2.

Edit: everyone should also vote for KotOR. It's way behind Diablo 2 now. If KotOR (which is new and everyone has heard about it) loses to D2, FO2 will lose for sure.

FO2 now has a near 200 vote lead. BTW, did anyone notice who wrote the article in favor of FO2? It's our old friend Allen "Delsyn" Rausch, who caused a furor a few months back with his Spy/Counterspy article. Good to know that he doesn't hold a grudge against the game because of us.

I thought about that, but if you look at the vote counts for DB2/KOTOR poll and the FO2/BG2 poll the number is similar.

As of 1pm EST 9500 people total voted in the BG2/FO2 contest. About 15000 have voted in the KOTOR/DB2 contest. DB2 has 9500 votes. If most of the people who previously voted for BG2 and KOTOR vote for FO2 in the next round (which doesn't seem too far fetched to me) the results could go FO2's way.

Yip, it's the whole "how many of the people that bought it are online nerds"-count, the ratio for that's a lot higher for Fo2 and BG2 than DII or KOTOR.

EDIT: Its pointless. They are going to nominate some Final Fantasy About Diablo MCXXXVII, or other game for the masses.

And after all the polls, Interplay has paid Gamespy off to nominate FOPOS.
 
You know .. you might wanna delete all these comments about setting up daemons and running proxies. There's a chance they follow the refers from nma and end up reading these replies.
